Finally last package arrived, now can I start to assemble the M9 rear end, center section package contains
3:50 Pro Street gears that have the lightning ring gear option, spool, 1350 billet aluminum Pinion yoke, billet aluminum Daytona Pro Street pinion support, 3-Channel ABS Ring.
Painted the rear end and installed the center section.
axle with 1/2" wheelstuds
Almost starting to look like a complete rear end.
Bought 275/60 15" Hoosier Drag Radial to run on the new wheels.
could not resist it, how it would look like
almost ready to be put under the car.
Then here is a little before and after shots of the car.
Here's what broke the old 10 bolt

Thanks for the compliments, guys!
Pleasure doing business with you Bob.
Here are 5 pictures and a bad video that I got from drag racing event that I was competing in last weekend.
That GT500 in this video is over 700rwhp. This video is of a practice run, and I let of after 1/8.
As you can see I installed the Weld rts. I have 18" in the front and 15" at the back.

Thanks guys, and there's a lot of love for fbody´s in this country.
Here are some upgrades and things I did for the car in 2013.
The summer started with me installing Ls9 cam. With Ls9 cam and on 12.2 psi I am running 138mph in the 1/4 mile. The clutch was not happy with the power and traction the car had so it decided to say goodbye right away in the first competition of the summer, because of that, I was not able to participate in the 1/8 mile street race in Akureyri, but here you can see the new Mcleod RXT next to the old ls7 clutch but hopefully RXT holds power better than ls7 clutch did.
Then when the clutch had become good then it was the next weak link, which proved to be driveshaft at the King of the Street.
This is how it ended after bunch of 1.5 60ft trips.
Here are some videos.
One of my problems last summer was the brakes they where not up to the speed my car was running (138mph in 1/4mile) and the brake section on the track is very short so I endid cooking the brakes, so next upgrade was the brakes.
Here have I painted firehawk logo on the calipers
There are some differences in size between the old and new disks
Old brakes
New brakes
This was not all bad this summer I managed to become second in the drag racing championship in my class and was selected (Most Likely to Succeed) in 2014
Here are the rear wheels. Street wheels and the drag wheels,
Street wheels are 18x12 and the drag wheels are 15x10.
The tires are Toyo RA1 and the size is 335/30 18"
Fronts are 18x7 and tires are 225/45 18"
Drag Racing look
Street look
More update to come
Thanks.
