Nice! Are you planning to get an engine dyno or just be able to start them?

can the MS1 datalog? I really want to put a MS setup together, but if i do I want datalogging.
I read that the MS3 can datalog, but is it as simple to wire up as the MS1/MSD? also I am very comfortable with the MSD ignition box, can an MSD/MS3 combo be effective?

all of the megasquirt boxes can datalog with a laptop.

also EFI source has a hand held datalogger that records right to a memory card, i will be getting one next week and i can show you guys! its badass

msd/ms3 can work but MS3 does full sequential fuel and spark and it would be a waste of its capabilities and money

quick guide to installing a IAT sensor in a truck intake, on a Megasquirt swap car.

reason for this being that the IAT sensor is built into the MAFS on LSX cars, so when you swap em, you need to add a IAT sensor from another GM car, i like to cut them out of the 3800 buick's or a blazer or something v6 similar, then i remove the evap solenoid. Really this serves two purposes as that Evap noid is barely in there and would probably leak anyway when boost hits it....

i open up the hole with a drill, or rotary cutter, dremel etc, till it just fits but very tightly and then i cover the sensor with some RTV for piece of mind, even though it probably doesnt need it, i like to think it lubricates it while i hammer it in lol..

then i unplug the pigtal and hammer it in with a dead blow, or mallet etc.

here you can see its JUUUUST in the line of the intake stream but barely, so it wont ab struct, but it fits in there great.

I just did this IAT install on my truck intake. I had a screw in IAT though. Mine ended up poking down a bit farther into the intake stream.

This is how I did mine. I made it out of an old aluminum oil pan that was in the way of a rod.
It houses the map barb and a $17 sensor from auto zone (pnSU107). Slap alittle rtv pookie on it and call it Shirley

I seen that you recommend the 80's for the injectors but your also running a turbo engine. I will be running a 6.0 with a cam and i have a vic jr intake that will have an elbow and a 90mm TB will i need injectors that size or can i go with something smaller?

im going to get some video for you guys and more detail on this neat product by EFI source, its a hand held datalogger that records right to a micro SD card, you just push the button in the car to make datalogs! no more laptop in the racecar! pretty neat product, right now its for MS1 extra code ECUs only, like the ms1 i use with the 6010 combo, im going to be testing it out on some of our cars and seeing how it works and showing you, it will be for sale shortly on EFI sources website and their ebay store.
