well there is a IAT sensor you can wire into the ms1 no issue, VSS i cant speak for..

there are lots of ways to do stuff with Megasquirt and i cant answer them all ahha. i would email support they would know for sure what you can and cant do.

i know there are usually spare inputs its just getting it to all work together and report the right data.

I just got my cam only LQ4 fired and running with help from Matt and this thread. I also used one of his turbo fuel tunes to fire it. It started right up. Even with my carbed timing map. I went right to tuning the fuel table. This setup works great.

yeah i believe it was around 550 with the harness and worked excellent..

AEA electronics (EFI source) will soon have a box that works like the MS3x, that can also do transmission control, not sure on a release date for this thing but he said he will be giving me one to test!

Bump great info, I'm a little confused i don't know if I missed something regarding wiring the injectors, you wire 12v to both banks and then the other wires on the injectors are all wired to a common in the megasquirt harness? I understand it grounds to complete the circuits to fire the injectors but it seemed like since all the commons are tied together wouldn't basically they fire the complete bank of injectors rather than individually when each cynlinder needed it? Unless I am confused and the commons for the injectors all have their own common to fire each individually in proper order... ?

^^^

Correct.

It batch fires the injectors. 1 bank at a time.

So 4 fire then the other 4.

You can do trans control with the GPIO board and the mega shift kit.

Its under $300 and it can use the megasquirts engine sensors via can bus.

I never knew batch fire works like this and you can make that type of power safely with it, seems like you'd only need 6 more wires for squential fuel injection.

I plan on making north of 1000hp with 160's batch fired on methanol. Should have it running by the end of summer. Do you really think that at 7000rpm+ the engine knows that is being batch fed or sequentially fed. I think it just wants fuel however it can get it.

Anyone ever try the semi sequential option vs untimed injection?
