vortech v9
Alright guys I have 3 questions:
1. Will the vortech v9 kit work with my heads cam Ls1 (Cam is the torqur v3?
2. I have 42 lb injectors. Will I need bigger?
3. Is there a kit made for an fmic with this supercharger?

I loved my Vortec setup and yeah it will work great. If those are the ford SVO 42's you might get away with them I ran some 50's up to 600rwhp on a H/C set up. I believe they rate those injectors at 45psi and since our base presure is 58 they will flow considerably more etc... GL!

I also have in the works a mid engine mounted system that will allow the V-24 cases.

I wonder what size pulley I have. All I know is it's a 9psi pulley haha. Also. Is the aftercooled kit supposed to come with like a Wastegate or something? The only thing I see that I don't know what it is is like a silver canister thing.

I'd also like to see what pulley and boost level you're running. A buddy of mine just bought this same kit from LT1RAY up there. However the car is all stock, with a 3.55 pulley i believe. Also came with a 3.15 pulley so we're tryna get an idea of what boost level it will be at.

^^Nice! We're going to begin the install within the next week or two and trying decide which pulley to run. We're barely above sea level here, under 100 ft. I know that we'll pick up power for sure but will it also pick up boost?! If so what boost level do you think we'll be at with the smaller pulley here at sea level?! Also thinking about going speed density...only mod will be a ported TB for now. But plan on doing maybe an LS6 cam, 317 heads, LS6 intake, and Longtubes in the future. Wanna keep it very streetable and safe

With my mod list on a completely stock 99 longblock (with 173k miles at the time)and the stock 3.12 pulley running stock maf and stock air lid with a K&N filter it made 6.7lbs of boost and dynoed 412/39x @ 6000rpm. I went to a 2.95 and it made 8.7lbs of boost and 450/438 @ 6000rpm. This is on a dyno jet and STD smoothing 5 is on the dyno sheet. This was done in Memphis, TN. It was mid 90's temp and the stock converter was unlocked. I have also heard that removing the maf and going sd would net some extra boost and more Hp but not sure, thoughts???
