It's cool to see that guys like Stangkiller realize this though. There are way too many people that I've dealt with and I'm sure other companies/shops/sponsors have dealt with similar situations that think when their stuff blows up it's automatically the shop or person who touched it last, fixed it last or upgraded it lasts fault. If there is one issue with this hobby/lifestyle/life is a lot of people feel entitled to things because of the amount of money they've spent. **** happens and when it does a lot of times it's a blame game for some people. I will say that the majority do the right thing, what a real man/woman would do and that is knuckle up and pay to fix it because as Justin(stangkillr) said at the end of the day that's what needs to be done.

I agree 100% but if companies would just stand behind the word and do exactly what you paid then most of the time situations like this would not happen.

Id be enjoying my car right now instead of it being in my garage in a million parts if the trans would have had all the parts in it. That I do know. **** happens, ill fix it and move on. Ill keep posting updates with pictures because I am going to change a few things while its apart again.

Glad to see you are staying positive about it. Somewhat anyway.

If PTC has any good business ethics, they'll pay for both the tranny and engine. It's not asking for much really... their transmission failed and in turn it caused engine damage. It's clear they need to do the right thing, it's not like you are trying to blast them and get everything you can from them. Just my .02

Hope to see it back together soon!

Who built the trans? Did the converter balloon? Do you guys know why a converter does that?

The transmission was missing two thrust washers in the case. Causing 1/8th inch movement forwards/backwards.

How did the car feel when it was running? Any boost lag down low in the rpm range?

Felt great! The car was very peppy and felt like it had a much smaller turbo on it.

Yeah.... I'm not questioning his numbers. I'm wondering what the torque numbers look like down low with his setup. But, thanks for your comment.
