[QUOTE=Stangkilr;17382748]For the record I dont have any paper work because you didnt send anything with the engine. Just wanted to clarify that.[/QUOTE
That wasn't towards you but you stated earlier you got an email that stated 24 tooth reluctor so you did receive paper work and I can provide a screen shot of the email and the itemized invoice with dates

I already edited my post in the other thread as I was out of line prior to you saying anything. I will apologize for the childish post for the short time it was up.
in my industry, I give what the customer asks for or I am held liable for it. I cannot change what they requests and invoice for it to make it Ok. If I want to change something, it requires sign off by said customer prior to me changing it.
I know it isnt my engine, as i'd be addressing it differently if it was mine.
you are both in a difficult situation, because you both handled it incorrectly... Justin should have provided something in writing (email is legally binding) to what he wanted. Because he didnt, you were both working under a verbal agreement, which isnt binding whatsoever.
so... for arguments sake, you are the only one that has anything binding at this point (invoices). But I guess only you two know the conversation and who is really wrong here. My only point in the matter is if he requested a 370 and you couldnt provide a 370 but had the 408 option , it could have been communicated better given the format in which you two had dialogue.
being straight is always better than being scared of losing business. It gains business in most cases. How you respond to mistakes shows true character.

No offense Justin but man I look back over all your build threads from back when it was nitrous and the old car to this build but it seem your always having some kinda issue and fighting problems with motors. You must have just bad luck! Hope you get it up and running soon!

I must be another odd one out. This whole situation sucks. There's no denying AES build some badass motors. What did yours pull on the LQ9 block? Around 1000-1200 wheel? That's impressive for a 408.
My experience has been awesome with Mike. Answers my stupid questions every day. Puts up with me calling all the time from Aus. Also didn't charge me for a shitload of stuff that he should have.
The man packed a large pallet full of parts for me, that he didn't even sell... I had em shipped there. To me that's a standup business.
I don't know why there's people in here adding their bits when they've had nothing to do with AES themselves, only what others have said. And we all know there's two sides to every story. Miscommunication happens unfortunately. Part of life. We are all humans..
Justin, hope you get it sorted and continue to decimate mustangs.

Noone seems to understand that he paid over 6k for a shortblock and didnt get what he asked for. I dont think hes asking AES for anything because the motor broke which was due to a trans issue, he is saying it was not what he ordered to begin with anyway. owell, the stocker will probably make more power.

Sorry to hear about your situation man, hope the stock engine holds together until you get your new/old one back.
At least on the brightside, it will be a cool experiment to see how the stock engine does with that turbo.
