quickest/fastest stock 6.0L?
quickest/fastest stock 6.0L? looks like the 4.8 is at 8.85@153 and the 5.3 at 8.65@167 which is also the fastest stock bottom end LSx record.
just curious how fast a stock 6.0 has been.
im at 8.93@157-3050#stock LY6 with cam, intake, ls9 gaskets and ebay head studs

Congrats man! You see so many 5.3's doing serious work but dont really seem to hear of many 6.0's running great times. Not saying there not out there or cant, just seems like there is a lot more 5.3's than anything.

I would think he is the fastest on record. If anyone has gone faster than an 8.39 on a stock 6.0 wed prob already know about it by now.
Stock48 still has more in the car too. I think its got a 7.99 in it. He still has weight to shave @ 3300lbs though.

No doubt there is more there if I want to chance it but it has to be on the edge lol. I prob won't be hitting the car any harder until I get some rods, and pistons in it. It will only have one or two more track outings and will be at reduced power due to altitude.

Thanks! Before long a light car will come along and go mid 7's lol. Still kinda hesitant of the trans braker, I just forsee a broken stock case powerglide...lol
