what rpm do you pull to? and what a/f do you run with e85? I seen your truck at rpms track rental at muncie, but did not get a chance to take alook. I had the white t/a pitted a few down track from you.

What are the advantages of the dominator over a stock ecm?

My suspension comment was directed at the rear suspension, but if you still have rebound to give in the front(meaning you have clicks you can tighten still) then you don't need limiters yet. use the shocks until you have no rebound setting left and it's all the way full tight. Then use the limiters. That's always worked best on our drag cars for us.

I know some guys use limiters then run their shocks loose and end up cutting their effective shock travel in half in the front and wonder why it spins.

Good luck!

In the past ive used the limiters to cut out the wheelies and to bring the nose down during the run. Its always made runs with the front hangin way up in the breeze. Maybe I need to change the front spring rate too?

It doesn't look like it's an issue so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

If it becomes an issue when you're really throwing a lot of power at it off the line you might want to look into getting your front shocks re-valved.

If your out of shock and you're needing the limiters then use them, but if you can use just the shock and utilize all of it's travel and pitch rotation then do it.

The stock ecu would have worked just fine but I didnt want to buy efi live, widebands, datalogger, and boost controller when I could just have all of that in one unit

Nice Chris! What was your 60 and other increments on the 8.89?

Our times are the same which is weird because i would think you would be faster from what looks like a much better 60 from you

My 8.89@157 was with a 1.44 60

Holley just came out with a traction control module also for guys running a smaller tire or more power. David Technologies maks it. www.moretraction.com The base unit is $599 and the best "self learning" unit is $999.

Great pass and running 8's in a fairly normal weight vehicle on the stock 5.3!

I believe it was a 1.36 that was the first time at that boost setting and it stumbled a little midway into the run
