Most people work so hard for their money, what a shame.
Guys who read this learn from this. Try to use credit cards when you can and if something starts to get fishy pull the plug. I wouldn't go past the credit card charge back date to protect yourself.
I hate hearing this stuff!!!

Even with the video from next door and the finger prints Bowling Green City Police found they are not launching an investigation at this point due to not having any leads.

What kind of Police Dept. doesn't open an investigation when there is $60,000 in theft???? The only one I can think of is one that was never called.

I can't believe anybody who was involved in losing stuff in this escapade hasn't called the PD to see if anything was actually reported to them in this "break-in and theft".
The whole thing stinks and reminds me of when Combination Motorsports had a "theft" in which entire vehicles were stolen, one of which was my good friends. That scum bag Sam that ran the place now works for a dealership up in Vegas and still somehow manages to get people that pay him to work on their cars. Everybody we talked to knew he was involved but nobody could prove it so there went that.

So everyone who paid him money for work/parts, did you get receipts or statements or some kind of bill of sale from him? If not, shame on you, that should have been a huge red flag.
Just like stated above, if you paid by credit card, and it came close to the limit of filing a claim, that should have been a solid indicator that things weren't working and that should have been his deadline to make good on returning services rendered for services paid.

Id just like to say the Josh I know was a very very nice person, I remember doing my build with a few parts I bought from him and being like ****, I need valve covers for these heads! I mentioned it to him and he said "dont worry about it bubba, ill get some to you by the end of this week!" and sure enough, I got valve covers in the mail, he wouldnt even let me pay him for the shipping!
I am also a small business owner, if I got robbed, I would be screwed. To those of you saying it was an inside job... REALLY? cmon now. He at least would have had insurance if he was gonna rob himself! As for beer cans being all over the floor in his shop, who gives a ****, the guy did quality work.
