Glad to see you bit down on the 8 rib setup. you can look into the poor mans beltwrap method. some have had great success with it while others felt they wasted time. as long as your around 8-10 lbs it should hold pretty well. After that you may want to splurge and grab the aster or the SDCE bracket.

the hardest part of the install, to me was pinning the crank. Other than that it went smoothly. Label the bolts and where they go. bag em up. youll be done in 2-3 days even if its your first time as long as you have basic knowhow .

I highly doubt it will be any cheaper. But it will be quicker to install, less hassle, and youll make some great power. Blower all the way. Makes some neat noises too. Brandon's car is a stock bottom freak IMO
Yea after everyone saying there would be belt slip on a 6 rib above 4 psi I kinda figured it's maditory to...

I'm a little nervous about pinning the crank, but I recently just drilled the inside of my crank out and helicoiled it so I'm a little scared about pulling the new ati balancer on also.

I think it will be a little cheaper. I've found some pretty good deals. From what I had added up for my a/c kit I think I't will be a little cheaperr

Okay well it doesn't look to complicated. Just Install the ati super damper and than use the pin kit to drill through the piece proved a certain distance and than blow out shaving and install pin. Sound right?

I had a single racetronix and 60's when I started out, made 615/561 but ran out of fuel up top.

You can't do that style pin with the ATi dampener. You need to get ATi's crank pinning kit

No problem. I'm trying to figure out what procharger pulley I will need? Can anybody help with that? I'm looking at running 5-6psi. And it's with the 7.65" 8 rib crank pulley

I run 4.25 pulley and make 11lbs so I would guess 4.5-5" call bob from brutespeed

You're making more power than me on motor also so that would mean you make more boost with the same pulley right?

No if you put my pulley on a stock ls1 heads and cam you would make more boost because of restriction of motor. Won't make more power but it will show a higher psi.

Go with a 5" pulley at first. Just like 35th said, you might make between 5-8psi, it just depends on what's been done to your car. Worst case scenario is you only make 5psi and you want more power than that, so you can pick up a new pulley for around $70.

I guessed, and picked a 4.00" pulley as I was looking for 8-10psi, but I have a great set of heads and decent size cam. Buuuut, I went with the truck inlet and big filter, also a FMIC and ended up making north of 14psi on a stock bottom end motor. Needless to say the power was great, quite addictive, and was just too much for the stock pistons.

Well I have everything over priced a little bit so I think I can get in it cheaper than what I have listed. Plus I really don't have the money to buy the full kit right now so it's easier to just piece it together and find parts as cheap as possible. I'd still buy your kit, but for less money. I've seen kits like yours but with the more expsive intercooler kits for the same or less $. The cx racing intercooler is only $450 shipped. I'm sure you'll sell it though. It's not a bad price just not what I'm willing to pay right now.

yeah allout's kit is def worth the coin.

as far as pulley. I had a 4.13 and I was making 9lbs at 5800 rpm. Right at 600hp.

Id prob do a 4.5"" like mentioned above. keep it safe and enjoy it for a while. the larger pulley will also provide more belt wrap. the smaller the pulley, the higher the potential for slip i have been told. It can also depend on the overall setup and camshaft ect.....

What were your mods when you ran the 4.13" pulley making 9lbs?

With the standard 8 rib 7.65" crank pulley, with a D-1SC a 4.50" pulley will generally get you 8 psi of boost, if the engine is stock with headers and exhaust. This is providing you don't live in a higher elevation. Bob
