I brought that up to James(the writer of the MSextra firmaware we use in the megasquirt) when we were on DragWeek this year.He was all for it, when he can get to it,and once he figures out the best way to do it.
So I think it will happen, but the system that is there seems to work good, and he has been busy adding some realy cool options for pushing data to external gauges, and displays. My guess would be that such an improvement is on a very long list of "wants".

I have looked everywhere and found only the launch control system.
I figure the launch control would build boost as well, but for an ALS, I suppose only the MS3X supports that?
Thanks,
Andrew

The ecu needs the input to be grounded to activate the system. So you can tie a momentary switch into the ecu input and TB that would allow both to be grounded when the switch is closed.

yes it uses the flex fuel wire and you ground it to activate it. mine is in a double switch and one side is the launch control and the other is power to my trans brake. I just flip both at the same time once I'm staged then floor the car and flip them both off to launch.

Yeah there is a "flex" output, I believe its purple and white wire that you can use for launch control. If you got your plug and play from efi source it is already set up in the launch control settings to use this output.
