Was going to the movie store tonight doing some highway pulls and noticed that with boost set to 12 psi going off 2nd gear pull it makes a couple psi more every gear I go up.. 14 in 3rd 16 in 4th which I let out of not pushing my luck. I guess more load more boost but guess my little cheap controller doesn't hold it to steady. Feels nasty though... I kinda like it like this though.

Not like its to critical for highway pulls. Be like UGR lambos boost by gear technology lol lol. Jk. If that's even what them cars do. Just going off assumption..

With using 100% m1 I doubt I will ever get any detonation. That's the real killer. If none of that then all will depend on integrity of the internals. Like to make a 16 psi pull on a dynojet though. Get a bragging number for stock stuff. Have a Dyno day where I can come see what it does lol.

Its been my experience that anything over 12 psi (in Cal 100+ degree Summers) is pushing the ragged edge of the stock pre 2005 rods and pistons. Not saying I haven't seen stock 4.8's pushing 18 psi on race fuel and live, but it seems to be far and few in between.

As long as your IAT's entering the engine are staying low (under 140-130 degrees) it doesn't matter if the outside air temp is at. I imagine the straight meth is a huge helper in that dept. I haven't run straight meth after seeing two different guys I know burn their cars litterally to the ground (not saying it happens alot or to everyone), so I have been sticking with the 50/50 mix and its kept my IAT's on my old blower setup to 10-20 degrees above outside air temps, but I was only pushing 10-11 psi. Of course it loved the Winter temps better too.

Yeah basically same size turbos, maybe? Not sure I know mine 75mm and yours 76mm but not sure the size compared from my borg to yours. My cam is 234/237 612/610 115+4. 14* and 10.3af at max boost. Twin meth nozzles pure stuff.

Your borg unit is physically much larger than mine. My cam is smaller than yours, 230/230 .613/.592 111+2. ive got 14* at peak torque and 19-20* at max power, 11.0 AFR with E85. Ive also got 317s so my compression is a little lower than yours. Id expect them to be very close in power as you dont have 9" sucking up power either. If you were on E85, i think you would get a decent amount more power than i got.

Funny you mention that, before I had my custom 9.5" 14 bolt built, I had everyone saying, 'Just build a 9". I didn't because of that reason, besides a 9.5" is stronger anyway without having to buy a bunch of higher spline speciality stuff to make it live under a heavy *** truck.
