Ok I took it apart and the first pic is the old rods and second is the new rods. My old motor was a 2004 and my new one is a 2005.

So you did 996 on gen3 rods?? How high were you spinning this motor?

Apparently they are the third gen rods! It was only on 26lbs when it popped. As for cause of failure, I'm thinking #3 rod let go and twisted #7 rod. I'll post some more pics! #3 piston and part of a rod are completely gone. All plugs could be reused. And the #3 rod was still connected to the crank with good bearings!
As for rpm I'm not sure

Ha ha ok yeah that's a lot but it was on 29lbs when it made 996 that's why I said that. Plus on the street I run it on 24lbs and it hits 26 when the converter locks up.

lol only 26lbs. makes me feel like a girl for turning mine back to 13-14lbs! thats badass though
