30mph back half in a 4800lb. brick. Not too shabby...

Put this in a 3300lb. car like Stock48 did and you have a 8.20@165mph capable ride.

Hey Smoke, yeah 4580 with me in it. Martin just made my fat chick feel fatter. She's prolly throwing up some fluids from some where now in the garage to lose weight. Awesome.

Please give "BIG" Red my dearest apologizes Rob....lmao.

I can only imagine the look on the guy in the Trans Am's face as a 4580lb. (sorry Big Red) truck came around him on the big end.

That video is awesome!

This has definitely got me rethinking nitrous...

I don't know what it is about your truck man, but I want to just, do bad things to it. I love RCSbs on D10s!

The truck is very impressive and looks awesome in person. Cooler air is coming so that 9.77 will be beaten easily. Good luck with it!

I didn't even think about this earlier...maybe 9.60's@142-143? 9.50's? 5.90's in the 1/8th? I think that turbo has more boost left to make as well on that engine. S400 series turbo's seem to get this piercing train whistle sound when they get in or near their sweet spot. You can clearly hear it in Rob's video as he releases the trans brake and goes hauling past the camera man.

I dunno, maybe all turbo's do that to some degree, I notice it more on the Borg units. I like it though That's got to be a happy turbo.

This really truly is, a GM Truck on Kill.

Rob, what are your goals from here? I'm sure you feel accomplished as of now but do you have a new number in mind yet for this set up (dyno number or track ET)?

Jake one thing i'd still like to get is a 1k dyno sheet out of her. However I seem keep having the same issue on a couple dyno's now. With it locked, I get a big boost spike in the 5k area when it loads up. So if I want to run 20psi, I have a 23-24psi spike on the dyno in the 5k area. If I wanted to make a 24-25psi pull, I'd have to handle a 28+psi spike.

The wastegate is a JGS 60mm, and it's setup pretty well. I don't have any issue unlocked on the street, can run as low as 6psi.

The only solution I can come up with is maybe dyno unlocked. Or I thought about instead of getting into it at 3-3.5k on the dyno, maybe roll into it at 4k or so it doesn't load up as hard down low.

Thoughts?

Just using a hallmans pro, manual boost controller.
