Default Which T4 turbo blanket?

I've seen DEI T4 "titanium" turbo blankets for ~$149 on ebay or Amazon, just wondering if there is a quality alternative that isn't quite as much money. My turbo plumbing will be wrapped in DEI titanium so I suppose it'd match.

I'm on a budget with an engine build now so I found a godspeed blanket on ebay for 50 bucks shipped. It's suprisingly nice for the money. Might not be as good as the higher end ones but it should help over the crappy heat sheild that was on there.

I got the same one. Functionality wise I am sure it will do it's job, but cosmetically, it's not much to look at. On mine, the stitching is an entirely different color then the rest of the shield so it sticks out extremely bad. Compound that with the fact that the stitching looks like it was stitched by a toddler on a caffeine high, there is not a straight 1" piece anywhere on it. Trivial, yes, but it bugs the crap out of me. It'll do though, I suppose.

You cant even see mine really so i prefer the function over appearance. I can definetly see your point though if the turbo is right in the open. My stitching doesnt look anything like you say though.

Yeah mine's right where the battery was, front and center for the world to see. I found the PTP on ebay from a private seller with actual pics of the blanket, and it looked pretty good. I was hesitant with the "generic pics" from other sellers on some models.
