They will only be in a T6, as they are on a GT55.

GT5088 or GT5518.

Big turbine, tight AR and correct cam timing.

Default Gt55 etr 94

Actually made 35 more rear wheel horsepower than the uber expensive garrett GTX5533 it was back to backed against. The only down side is that it was 150 rpm behind on the boost curve. Thing is.. without instrumentation like a datalogger or dyno... i doubt anybodys assometer could ever tell the difference.

1-2 grand cheaper and makes more power... Pretty damn good i think.
What size motor would you run with this turbo and what exhaust a/r?

Anything from 364-427 with the proper AR housing.

That is correct. The new ETR-HO 94 is an animal. We are running one right now with a 1.81A/R housing....lol.

Just to give you an idea, my 402/10.2:1cr/317 headed GT47-88 combo put me at 9.06 on 17psi in a 3400rw with a .96ar. no clue what it would've made on a dyno with that ar but now it's got a 1.23ar and put down 949rwhp at 22psi. Lag? Almost non existent with the .96 and just enough to push the power band up with the 1.23. Hope to see what it runs now with a full tune and an extra 5 psi. While i would love a GT55-91 or 94, its out of my price range for a turbo when i'm not trying to break any records and already have more than enough turbo to put me in the 8's and drive the car all over!

Hope that helped some.

Oh and that's just with a blower cam! If i had Martin spec me out a cam, i can only imagine what this thing would be like as it's a monster already IMO, coming from a 10 sec n/a combo being the fastest i had ever gone prior to going turbo! lol

Hard to go wrong with the s488. Look at ls1curt (383) and dschmidt (365) going 8.6-8.8 155-158 mph on only 15-17 lbs. Both are very impressive for their weight and boost.
