Id say the only way to beat those gallardos of UGR is to build an AWD car capable of holding 1700-2000AWHP. Like I said earlier you can have 2500rwhp vs a 1500AWHP and I bet the AWD car gets the advantage. TRACTION.

I see it opposite of that. I know its apples to oranges but... The thing is Larson's car is driving on the street, the Lambo's couldn't come close to competing with the drag week top cars. Larson's car traps in the 200s its faster and quicker then any Lambo. Doing hundreds of high 6 second passes and driving to the next state is much much harder then punching it at 60mph. Not taking anything away from the lambos there amazing and a bad *** package.

Yes...but a Lambo can go around corners too.

That's just gonna open a whole can of worms on the what makes a street car a street car debate.

If it can be driven on the street from state to state its a street car to me.

/\ or not bust the transmission..... When your in quad digit HP #s it's probably unrealistic to not break ****. I've never rode in a Lamborghini...but from what a few friends have told me they aren't the ideal comfortable ride, along with a bucking clutch in stop and go.

If it can be legally driven on the street, it's a street car...150#s in A/C and stereo equipment is a moot point at damn near 2000hp.

I've been in a gallardo and it's perfectly fine and comfortable. I could daily drive it. It's more snug then a SUV, but not unmanageable. I'd compare it to a c4 corvette on the snug factor.

Lol he doesn't do anywhere near hundreds of passes in that car during drag week and you sound like you're talking about honda's "punching it at 60". These guys don't do a couple of 60-100mph hits. They go from 60 to 220mph in a matter of seconds, drop back to 60, turn the air conditioning on, and then sit in traffic for a hour with no issues. I seriously don't think you can wrap your head around that because Larson's car can't do that. Yeah he will obviously kill them in a drag race but that's a tube chassis car and the Lambos have every single creature comfort that they had from the factory

Don't get me wrong, Larson's car is incredible, but I'll take my buddy's stage 1 UGR TTG over that car without even giving it a second thought

You do know 95% of the 1500whp+ cars are automatic right? Those cars are literally bullet proof when they are completely built. Proline engine + billet transmission and transfer case = extremely reliable even for every day use. There's a reason the engines are like $70k and transmissions are $50k

I find it funny that people who have different opinions on what a street car is thinks their opinion is the only one that matters. Look how many people on this board have removed stereo's and ac. I guess that makes them race cars and not daily drivers. I can't think of many shows that have had a lambo in it that included a moderate amount of street driving and it made it through to the end. An example is of the show Goldberg hosted that the trans am won. Facts are facts, ugr lambo's are not the fastest street cars. If they are so badass then they need to bring their asses to the fastest street car shootout. Pull all their equipment, drive 1400 miles just like the rest of the field. Oh wait, 8's ain't gonna cut it. I can't talk though, my stroker, f1, 4l80 car is a race car because it doesn't have a radio or ac. Bet I drive that bitch more than my 07 2500hd though.

Why don't you learn the difference between high 6 and 8 sec power. I bet I can put a radio and ac in the top 3 hot rod fastest street cars and they will still beat a ugr lambo. Thats what 2400+ and 5500+ horsepower will do. I wouldn't be shocked if the 57 weights more due to all the safety **** in the car than a lambo. If not then they got to be close. I can't help but think how ******* stupid your comment was. Obviously they are quicker in the 1/4 and post a faster mph.

1750whp @ all corners you're going to get your *** handed to you on the streets.

Running damn low 8's at the track as well you're more than likely to get smoked!

Stop hoping for a miracle those cars are a beast. Just give them props ****! And like doug mention having AC and Music is a luxury that is impressive!
Your absolutely right. The moment I posted a link of the shootout people got butt hurt. You would think they were getting paid to defend ugr. And the damn ac and radio comments. That's like me saying detoxx can longer call his car a street car because he trailer it to the track. Who cares, I think it was a damn smart move. If I had lambo/ugr money I would not daily drive or drive it to texas to street race. That thing is going in an enclosed trailer.

from what I hear the gallardos blocks are stronger then the little V12’s. But I could be wrong. Well see what UGR does.. I guess UGR top dogs are gallardos and not murcielagos. But since the new model and successor of the murcielago is out I wonder if there capable of 2000AWHP

Heres a short video of the first UGR TT aventador(supposedly 1200AWHP) vs a TT gallardo.
