I guess your car is ALWAYs 100%. Nothing fails in your world at the last minute. Its like this. They were just out to have fun. I dont remember the Vette owner telling anyone he was representing anyone but himself.

Since you are embarrassed because the Vette loss to a 1500 plus hp AWD Lambo you should build a car and beat the UGR Lambo's to bring back the honor of the LS cars. If you cant, then stop criticizing others that have tried and raced the Lambos. In the real world there are reasons why cars lose and it is not always as simple as just watching a unnarrated video put out there by the winner. So what you call excuses I call actual facts of what we saw in the video. I say wait for the Texas Invitational where the REAL roll racers show their stuff. Most likely this same Vette will be there to represent.

Exactly. The 2,500 HP 454ci TT LSX will eat any UGR badly if Tom Nelson decided to build something. And it would probably be all said and done for less than $100,000. Engine and TT kit is $55,000.........that leaves $45,000 for tranny, suspension and roll cage.....

Lol

Just throw a Twin precision turbo 632 big block and hopefully he can build a car that can put that power down to stick.

Old video of Nelsons 1800hp Mosler. Would love to see this mosler line up with a stage 3 UGR Gallardo

No doubt......if NRE puts any of a dozen of his engines in a roll race built car.......the UGRs will be sent back to the drawing boards for YEARS and YEARS to try to get back on top.....

And NRE will do it for much less than half the price........

Guys it more than power, mostly its a car that can INSTANTLY transfer it to the ground. Most of those races are over in the first two seconds.

Nelson Racing Engines is rumored to be building a car for TX2K this year. Stand by UGR... You've got some serious street cars, but I think the reaper's coming for ya this time...

I find that hard to believe. To walk all over them, any car will need to have immense traction, and pushing well into the 2khp range and be able to sustain WOT for that mile.
That not only means huge engine/drivetrain reliability, but if it did have that power aerodynamics to keep the thing on the ground will also be a huge factor.

@LSnights09... Talk about interesting!!!^ NRE could definately build something with far more chances of beating UGR, but then again youll never know how strong will UGR comeback every year.

Look, I'm an "american muscle car" guy just like the next, but I don't think any of the LS-bsed variations mentioned above would come close the the comfort, refinement, and streetable style of the UGR Lambo's. People are also saying that "things" are being built for this years TX2K and for UGR to watch out. Do y'all honestly thing that UGR isn't building something bigger, stronger, faster as well? C'mon mannnnnnnnnn

Learn the difference between fastest and quickest. Just because Larson's car can make a slow trip across the country does not mean its a street car. Lets see him do a bunch of 60-220mph highway pulls, then slow down back to 60, put the AC on, and listen to some music while sitting in leather seats

I smell a lot of brand loyal on this thread. Bottom line is those UGR cars are fast give those guys their props. Sure it's insanely expensive down right mental retarded to fund. But that's not the point.

1750whp @ all corners you're going to get your *** handed to you on the streets.

Running damn low 8's at the track as well you're more than likely to get smoked!

Stop hoping for a miracle those cars are a beast. Just give them props ****! And like doug mention having AC and Music is a luxury that is impressive!

There is only one way to beat a UGR car at every single thing they do. Buy a Lambo and build it yourself. But have the 600k to back it up

Bravo. Some people need to learn the difference between a street car and track car. I trailered my car to the track last night. Not because I could drive it but incase I broke something. Other than a full drag car running 9.50's I ran the next fastest at 10.2 in full street trim and if needed I could have drove it all the way home with the a/c blasting and stereo bumping while being cosy in my leather seats.

I doubt anyone will admit it but the UGR TTG is one of the best cars you could build for the money. With a change of gear sets, you can run low 8's at the drag strip, go tear up a road course, or crack everyone's *** racing 60-220+... All while driving around a pimp *** Lamborghini. Only 2 cars that would come close are GTR's and C6 vettes

It's a awesome machine. I've always been a Lambo fan. My dream car is a Koeniggsegg CCXR or AgeraR but a gallardo is right there on my list of do wants.
