It is very well mannered, through the exhaust it drives around like a mild cam ls1. Power delivery is smooth and very strong. It is well sorted out for a fresh build!

****, mild mannered doesn't begin to describe it. I have driven it and can tell you that you wouldn't know anything was ever done to it.

You should have significantly more thump with a 110LSA than the OP's motor with a 117 lsa.

Man... I dont know what to say about the thing not making a ton of noise... LOL that cam has FIFTEEN degrees of overlap in it.... Its still the biggest cam I have done to date for a turbo LS.

After seeing the dyno graph I can see a couple things i could change to try and make it better... been piddling around with numbers and I have one worked up that you could try if you wanted to... this one has 19 degrees of overlap in it... but that scares me when i think about the turbine side of those turbos...

I suspect it will have 75mm turbines on it sooner or later.

I had no idea it had that much overlap. Wow.

So nice to drive down the road and actually have a conversation inside the car. Doesnt look like a sleeper but sounds like one.

There is probably 12 gallons of water in the system overall, so liljon said a heat exchanger was not necessary and from watch the IATs during pulls with ice in the tank it shows.

They are Frozenboost intercoolers. I can't remember the exact part number.

Update :

Well I got the car to the track and had nothing but issues. Car wouldn't make boost on the line with the trans-brake, had spark plug wire off, and the icing on the cake was the alternator crapping out.

Needless to say we only got 3 passes in and none of them are worth posting up. I did however get some decent pictures.

I have had nothing but problems with the transmission for this car. It is an 80E locally built with all the good parts bought from a sponser in Texas. Got some replacement parts and the trans did not last very long once again. It is out to a new builder (different builder) to see if they can identify what the root cause is.

Soo far they found a few issues with the transmission internal that are being addressed that should resolve the burning up issue within 300 miles.

I also sent them the converter to be inspected, and well it wasn't pretty. I am glad PTC is taking care of everything.

Tpis built the motor right? Did they do the trans build too?

I take it parts came from Jake...
Why didn't you have RPM do the transmission?

Really nice build though man.

TPIS did not build the motor, and they did not do the transmission. If you would like to know who did the motor please send me a PM.

Master Trans in Rosemount, Mn did the transmission, and I do not blame any failures on them. I blame the failures on the parts that are inside the transmission from the company in Texas.

Damn, that looks nasty.
Is Master the place that built the 80e in Nate's Nova?
He mentioned a guy up there who was magical with them when I picked my truck up. Built trans is on my winter to-do list if the boat doesn't bankrupt me.

Sucks to hear about the transmission issues. I had issues with a 80e and decided to go back to the th400 in mine.
