I can tell you this..we used MSIII in our turbo/E85 275 car for 2 seasons now, all I can say is it's great....so much so decided to build our own EFI system for my procharged 509 boat...what you gain over trying to tune factory stuff is unreal...

If I can find one for $700ish I might sell off my hptuner stuff and go this route, but so far I have not been able to find where they sell them for that. Only reason for me is that I will ALSO have to get a stand alone trans controller and all the pigtails as I would hate to cut up my $500 harness to go this route. But I still am not finding this $700 deal. What makes it different than getting a MS3 and a $90 harness for $like $750?

What features do you like best about the MS3? I bought the EFI source gold box and it's my first time ever using MS EFI setup. I have tuned stock PCM's with Tunercat, EFI live and Diablo Plug in flash programmers. I be also helped with Fast and a BigStuff3. So anybody using the outputs like boost control, traction control etc..? Lmk

until reading this thread i was hooked on hp tuners, now i'm seriously leaning towards this unit, however my only real concern is, does this unit have an input for vehicle speed and and output for speedo? i cant seem to find any info stating what this unit has for that. If anybody has an answer to that question it would be greatly appreciated
thanks

perhaps www.efisource.com will be able to help with the pinout and other general information for their product? I have never dealt with them, but this looks like a real nice product.

I know this is a old thread but I'm on the fence about buying the ms3 gold box or ms3-pro.
I was wondering the same thing as post #109
Does this unit have an input for vehicle speed and and output for the speedo?

Here's what they are offering now. It's not integrated into the gold box itself, but it works well. A friend of mine has one micro firing the motor, and another micro shifting the trans. He's happy and its pretty affordable
