No A/c here, and willing to relocate battery to rear.. not willing to loose P.S.

Thanks for the reply!

No heads lifting... that is a good thing. Did they use standard ARP Head Stud or something special? I know that QMP was have head lifting problems with there 347cid. What did LPE do different with the heads? If you are limited to cylinder head pressure, then use it better with the stroker. I want to know how long the motor lasts with the stock block. I honestly believe the stock block is a stout piece. What kind of intercooler was used and how big? I can't wait to see a 2000HP LS1 with the C5-R block.

Nothing special about the C5R block... Cuz its in a race corvette, the C5R block has billet mains instead of the cast ones, but thats about it. You have a lil more meat to bore it out more, but they only went with a 382/383? so they have plenty of meat on the LS1 block. It would be cheaper for them to blow the ls1 block and buy another or maybe even two than buy one C5R block.

EDIT: I'm still impressed that the stock 346ci is taking 700+bhp

No way Jonathon. Still awaiting the aftercooler (about 3 more weeks). Nothing special about the heads or head studs. Off the shelf ARP studs. The heads were o-ringed by our local machine shop here in Dayton area. They will be doing good to get the car set up in time for the North/South race in June.

Thoughts on why they used a hydraulic cam?

Original plan was to run an Incon kit and never get this radical, so they already had the cam. Just decided to see what it would do
