I was thinking about running a D1SC but i dont know exactly which procharger i want to run because i dont know how much boost i can safely make. I was thinking i might be able to run 8-12lbs but i dont know. Thats why im here asking questions im just trying to learn and figure it out before i start buying stuff.
This was on an LS2/402 with AFR 225 heads, FAST 92 intake and the F-1A at 12.4 psi. I don't see you having a problem making similar power with your combination on E85. Bob

For a 408 I would go with an F-1A as it won't have to work as hard as a D-1SC on your 408. Take a look at the dyno chart at the link here. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Brute-Spe...d-Camshaft.htm

Provided you have a good fuel system I'd go for 10 psi. Bob

You might get by with 91 octane fuel and 100% methanol. You can always mix in a couple gallons of 100 octane if you need to. Bob

You are going to need to replace the complete fuel system. We used an Aeromotive Eliminator fuel pump on my Camaro along with -10 fuel lines. You are going to want to use Teflon lines as today's fuel leeches out through standard braided lines, and will stink up a garage. Bob

No, you're going to need at least 80lb injectors, depending on how much boost you end up running.

Yeah your going to need a pretty decent fuel system. PLAN FOR THE FUTURE.!
The E85 is a pretty good source of insurance. I am personally going to run the VP M1 100% methanol on the highest setting from dual nozzles on top of the E85 for even more safety and for a little extra power whily trying not going to get greedy.
The idea is longevity.
For example on my build
390ci
E85 with 100% M1
F1A--- Hoping for 15-18 lbs overspinning by 2000rpm
Fuel System:
Custom Made Twin 340 Lonnies Pumps (actual 340's not the part #)
Stainless Braided Lines
Fast Rails
-6 Micron Fiberglass Fuel Lab Filter (e85 rated)
Fuel Lab Regulator
FIC 192lb Injectors @ 43psi
They injectors are a little over kill, but I am tired of constantly having to get new ones for more power. 127's may get you there on 10 lbs but it cant cost too much to step up to the 160's. Once you feel 10lbs of boost your going to want more soon after.
Hopefully this gives you an idea of what you may eventually need. You can also try a magnafuel 750 to save a few bucks.

You're welcome. I am referring to one -10 line running forward supplying fuel and one -10 return line. Lonnie's can supply you with the teflon lines and fuel system. Thanks. Bob

Ok guys now that i have an idea on what i need as far as fuel system and which procharger to run i am wondering if a 9"rear end on sticky tires will live if i do go forced induction? Also does anyone know about how much of a difference there is between rear wheel hp and hp at the crank? And thank u Bob for the clarification on fuel line sizes.

9 inch is what youd need. should be good to go if its setup right as far as pinon angle and lash and all that BS i have not on clue about personally.
as far as crank hp and rwhp depends on the drivetrain. some say 15% some say 18% blah blah blah.
only number that matters is mph and ET and 60 foot.
personally had a car I know of making 624 at the wheels running 5.70's in the 1/8

A 9 inch with a Wavetrac is what I would go with, check out the above link. You're welcome, thanks. Bob
