u need to turn the turbo so it faces forward so it can suck some air thru the grill

Matt you just need to start buying this stuff by the truck load. Think of building these cars with no waiting on parts ! Haha. Which radiator is that ?

its a summit 19x31 i think.

usually i have all the parts ahead of time.

i have a video ill post then its uploading,

hotside is done, waiting on a few more parts, stock shifter works with the 4l80e, we used some th400 mechanical shifter parts, man its sweet.

Sweet setup. Looks like if you put the wastegate just before the turbo (on the elbow), you might have enough space to be able to merge the wastegate into the downpipe off the turbo. One dump pipe then.

love to see how you are making that merge. plasma cutting the cast iron and then you're mig welding the exhaust pipe in?

i used the chop saw and cut the manifold way back that is mild steel that the Vband and merge is

I did this with a Plasma cutter and cleaned up the surfaces and mig them together. i wanted sch 40 to the twin turbos

Warning!

Welding galvanized sch 40 pipe can produce deadly fumes in an enclosed garage. All it takes is an open garage door and a small breeze from a fan to clear them out.

You are so right on that one, I cut - grind - weld all at the front of the garage with the door all the way open when welding any Galvanized items.

now back on track to denmah style

threw a dipstick from the junkyard in this pig today, fits great hahah


and mounted the wastegate, i will be dumping it back into the exhaust
