77 inches?
i measured close to that on a test fit with some cable.

you did no power steering, and alt, tensioner, water pump crank in the stock location?

usually i measure with wire and then subtract 1 inch and try that.

i should get the idler tomorrow and then i can measure and buy!

Just google ultra-gage. I buy them several at a time and resell them to my buddies. Also it works with ANY obd2 vehicle. Serial and can bus cars. It's a scan error code tool too.

Great build, I just finished up a 6.0 w/ported l92 heads, comp. cam, headman swap headers. Still needs a lot of tuning work. I have 3.73's and I'm going the 3.27 route this weeks. Once I get the new gears in I'll work on the tune somemore. I'm just piddling with it to get it driveable, I'm going to have a real pro tune it. Right now I have to tone it down, I put a set of dynomax race bullets and its way to loud for this old man. Nice build, how much do you thing you have in your turbo system?

i have a little over 4k in it at this point and wheel hopped it like **** yesterday and bent the left axle tube, well didnt bend it but it pulled out and rotated a little haha

i have to pull it out and my friend is going to line everything up and weld it.

and ill probably do axles and a diff immediately...

also got a 45 for the throttle inlet coupler, because i guess the motor moves on the stock lower rubber mounts and rubbed the IC pipe and it tore up half the new belt.

also there is a high idle now, for some unknown reason.

lots of fun yesterday, makes you question why you mess with cars when you have a day like that hahha

I have one of those ultra gauges in my wifes DD since the New Beetles only have a tach, speedo, and fuel gauge (in the TDIs anyway) but now I can keep an eye on the intake temp, temp, boost pressure, and so on. I'm going to grab one for my Yukon soon, being able to pull engine codes and clear them right from the gauge is awesome.

The wagon is looking good man, sucks to hear about the axle

The rear end twisting blows, I feel you man, looks like you got yourself a fighter. Keep at it man, the bugs will be shaken out soon enough.
