new tensioner and belt installed, i work late tonight so i didnt have time to drive it yet, and i dont wanna drive it till i can get something fabbed in there to catch the belt if it throws it

time to turn those old stock pushrods that have a left step to them into a squirrel cage!

hahah that is an excellent idea, i want to keep all the old ones i have though they work great still

dude there is a square 80-82 t bird in the pick and pull down here, i thought of your build threads as soon as i saw it. brown on brown, really nice condition.

they wont sell whole cars though unfortunately.

Well before you let the Malibu go, can you give me the belt number? I know you mentioned 75.5" roughly and looking at my accessory drive I just realized we have something very similar. I think it would at least be a good place to start.

yeah 75 inch actually fits better, i can get you the delco and other part number i used

here is the belt that is on the car now
