Default Opinions on cross flow/dual pass or conventional down flow radiators?

I'm having to switch my car to a dual pass or crossflow radiator because of my turbo location and I'm just lookin for some input from people currently running some the pros and cons vs a normal down flow one I'm running the griffin 27.5" wide 15.5" tall 3" thick normal flow right now and need to switch to a dual pass one with the same width and height but only 2" thick what do you guys think???

I've got a dual pass radiator in my Fairmont because its easier on a ls swap to have the outlet on the passenger side . its been working great in this 100 degree Arkansas heat.

I just had Becool build a radiator for me. The dual pass frees up a ton of room because the fittings are both on one side. I have pictures in the thread below:

The way I understand it... Crossflow radiators increase backpressure by a factor of 4. Since our waterpumps are not positive displacement, flow slows down tremendously.

Before I switched to a remote mounted pump, I was going to buy a few pieces of stainless tubing and make tube that could quickly/efficiently route the coolant back to the other side, so I could have same side connections.

I have a dual pass griffin in my Nova and it works pretty good. Stays below 200 in 95 deg heat.
