im with Pray Hrd. im running the same size intercooler as him and untill someone can show me proof that it wont be as efficient as its $500+ counter part im gonna stick with it. hopefully my trash will be running soon and ill log some temps to see.

Taubr unit: do you happen to have a comparison in temps between your Treadstone and the ebay cooler by chance? you mentioned the Quality was better but didnt mention anything in regards to efficiency. just curious.

Wow. Stock48 I didn't think our stock bottom would handle 20-25psi. What happened with turbonetics? I was planning on going with their turbo through Huron speed.

Yes they will but there is no room for error.
They were supposed to send me a prototype 76/75 to test against a my 76/68, and ended up sending me a 66/75 that was supposed to go somewhere else. So I next day aired it back to them so they could get it to customer and they drug me out for 3 months with no turbo then ended up sending it to someone else instead. I had dyno reserved, and held up my truck all summer for them along with paying over 100$ to ship that 66 turbo back for nothing. Not even a thanks....

Running a treadstone twin setup 6" tall intercooler, it cools fairly good for not having great airflow on my car. I do have pre/post temp sensors and pressure sensors, seeing around 75 degree drop in temp and 1.5 psi drop of pressure is all at what should be over 1000rwhp.(163mph at 3440lbs)

That's a good point. $160 is a good price. Thanks for the info on build quality. Can't tell a whole lot from the pics but I may try them out and if its not up to my standards sell it and upgrade.

No, never ran it with the eBay unit, sold it mid-build for the Treadstone I have now. Just got the car running so no actual numbers yet. All I can comment on its quality. However the thing that I like the most on it is its a real 3" in/out with machined ends. The eBay ends are cast 3" so it's like a 2-3/4 in/out which I didn't like.

I run the e-bay 4". Made bigger end tanks with 3.5" inlet/outlets.
Makes over 1000 rwhp at 19 psi through a t400 and ran 8.4 at 169 mph first day out. Runs faster 1/8's now.

It works.

This is the way to go if you have access to a welder and extra aluminum around.

That's really not all that bad. I loose 7-8 psi on my truck. A couple of psi is just from cooling the air. And have to figure at least a psi in the piping if you have bends.

20% drop seems hi.
But if your limited on space that's all you can do.

I wish a good ic company made a 31x12x4. I can only find similar dimensions but they are either 4.5 or 5inch thick. Id really have to take out alot of bumper to fit that.

Extreeme turbo systems builds them to spec. I believe the little 3" cooler on my truck was made by them.
