You can use a bracket but it you should design it knowing that the tubing/flange, etc. will expand and contract with heat. Sometimes adding a brace can actually cause a crack in your hotside.

I run one that is a length of 1 5/8" welded verticle to my frame rail with a flat plate on top, the T-6 flange has a two hole mount that is bolted to the plate on top of the tube. I run flex joints in both of the crossover pipes works out great.

Yep, no other way to go. My fabricator made a bracket that attaches to the scatter shield, and gives a few millimeters of movement, but supports the weight of the turbos.
