Default Reputable SD Tuners in the Southeast for FI?

My Trans Am has been on the back burner for far too long. It is time to get it tuned and I am looking for a reputable shop who has experience in tuning FI cars with SD. I had previously taken my car to a supposed "reputable" tuner in the Dallas area when I was living in Oklahoma and got nothing but excuses for 6 months while my car was neglected. I will not tolerate anything close to this again. I want to take it to a shop and expect to have it back within a couple weeks with a dependable tune so that I can drive and enjoy the car that I have put so much time, effort, and money into. This is the last step in a long journey for this car and it has killed me being so close to the finish line for so long and not having the car realize its full potential that it was built for. I currently live near Savannah, GA and don't know of any place close to here. If anyone knows of some place from Jacksonville to Charleston, that would be great. Would even be willing to go as far as Orlando, Atlanta, or Charlotte for the right shop.

Give JP at LSXpowertuning a call @ 843-608-8579 he's located in Charleston, SC and you wont find a better guy to work with he will data log at the track on the street or on Redline Performace's mustang dyno in charleston,sc. Is very fair on pricing to start and he will retune for cheap never met a customer that was disapointed with his service. He does everything from max effort turbo/nitrous drag cars to street cars. He tunes my car and BADBOB's ls turbo fox (If you havent seen BADBOB's car run just google it and dozens of youtube videos will show up.) He has done dozens of FI LS cars all around the Carolina's and Georgia. Tell him Preston refered you.

My car has a custom 3 bar EFI Live SD tune.

Do you have any contact info for this guy? Is it a shop, or just an individual?

I'm glad to see some of the things in your sig, Preston, such as the 80# siemens injectors, and meth kit specifically. I have the same injectors, and I also have a progressive alkycontrol meth kit. If this guy can tune those with SD, that is the exact experience I am looking for!

Lane Culver (Culver automotive speacialties) in Huntsville.. He has tuned some big big FI setups and always has several cars there at the shop. Use to do all of Hinson's tuning/fab.
Tuned my buddies 370 D1 cars a few months ago. Has tuned my 408 and my 370. Both of my cars and buddies 370 D1 car are SD tuned. Zero issues in driveability in any of them.

When you call, let him know I sent you (Evan S with the red 408)... The first tune is the most expensive then it is much much cheaper for retunes/touch ups.
He is a great guy and if you have any problems while on the dyno he will bend over backwards to get them fixed and a full tune that day. Spent 8 hours on my buddies and we didn't get a full tune, charged half then and the other half when he came back with the issues fixed. 10 hours and only charged the normal dyno fee. FWIW it was not a tuning issue, it was the car/owners problems.

Highly recommend him.

He is also going to LsFest I'm pretty sure so you might be able to hook up with him there if you're going and making some passes. IDK..

Thanks Forcefed, but that is 6 hours away from where I am. I really don't want to have to go that far. Appreciate the suggestion though.

No "good" shop should have it for more than a couple days. If they say they need to have it for a couple weeks, no thanks, stay away.
