I have the Dominator and love it, it is great having everything in one place and the data logging ability is also great. You have your 2/3 step, boost controler, EFI, all in one ECU and you can data log just about anything you want. I have added a G meter, shock sensors, drive shaft speed sensor. Really like the adaptability of the system and a great modern interface.

If the ProEFI had internal logging I'd say it; but it doesn't. On the other hand the Holley doesn't have FlexFuel. ProEFI does have an External Logger so I say it.

I have the Holley and I love it with the little time I have actually played with it.

The holley doesn't have a flex fuel sensor but it does have a multi-map selector so switching tunes is easy and no need for a laptop.

You can download the holley software from their website and play with it, its very user friendly.

Holley requires an additional module and a drive shaft sensor if you want traction control. ProEFI just ties into the front and rear abs sensors, so there is some money saved there....

To use pro EFI in fbody and retain factory gauges in fbody with all the bells and whistles is going to cost between 6-7 grand Proefi does not have a plug and play harness yet I have been looking into this for about a year .

Both are great ECU's and have great features. If you plan on being at the track quite often, Holley is the way to go. If your car is primarily a street car, PRO EFI is hard to beat.

I have no experience with pro but have the holley HP efi on my car. I had 0 knowledge of efi or electrical stuff before hand (i had to look up how a relay worked) Got a base tune from moore racecraft and he answered a couple technical questions and its running great. 720whp at 15lbs and 10.4 @ 125 with %34 converter slip. Ive also been stranded before where a station didnt have e85 and didnt have my computer, filled up with 91 and the "auto tune" corrected it all out where i was cruising home no problem. Got home, filled up with e85 and pulled out what the auto tune changed. Depending on what your doing you might not need the dominator and can use the HP, main differences are a lot more input/outputs, electronic trans control, dual wide bands, DBW capability. Say later down the road you want to change it, the harnesses are the same so you just swap out ecu's and load your tune. Another thing to look into is the coils, I know the older version of the holley stuff couldnt run the LS coils under high boost/power and required there waste spark coil system, works great but is extra $ to consider. Dont know if there latest update resolved this.

According to Holley the LS coil issue is now fixed. I would not buy a used unit without checking the serial number to ensure you get one of te later ones that will run the LS coils.

Show me were to get that from and I will be all all over it . The labor alone to wire the Proefi in to work with the stock gauges is over 2 grand .So add all that up with all the sensors that's needed will be around 6500.00 easy

Another vote for holley, Im no tuner but in only 6 passes down the track my turd is going 9s on 93octane & 12 psi without ever seeing a dyno. AFRs are spot on under boost.
Although I haven't got the idle as good as I'd like.

I have the Holley HP (n/a 427) and with minimal tuning working off of another buddies map (440 LS2, different heads/inj/intake/cam/compression) it started right up. Once the coolant temp came up the WB02 kicked in and the self tuning began. Only things needed to be cleaned up was idle, cold start, and hot start. The Holley self tuning did the rest for the most part. The more I drove it.... the better the tune got. A lean cruise at 2200-2400rpm for highway economy was put in. I also raced it and at the Shift Sector 1/2 mile shootout event added in e85 to my 91 octane to make around e35/e40 to max out my LS9 injectors.... and it picked up 3mph. No dyno time yet. It rips for an n/a motor. Guessing 575rwhp. I saved $500-600 from using the local tuners. Never again am I at the mercy of them.

A local tuner tuned my other n/a LS2 with LS3 heads/intake road race car and for 1.5 hours of work charged $500. He said that is my rate.. and that is that. Cold start was absolute crap and he wanted more to further refine the tune later. He didn't use any lube either After that experience... I'll put the Holley on all my project cars.

I'm putting this system on my 5.3 GTS76 turbo Chevelle project for sure. Super easy interface. The Holley factory support isn't the greatest.... but it is relatively easy to figure out. My old tuner said forced induction cars are $600-1K to tune. F....U

Traction Control is $699 for the basic setup and $999 for the bad **** that is also self learning!

I feel the system is easy to use and works well. Most other systems have a difficult to use and timely interface to make changes. Holley is quick to access tables/make changes and once you learn the software you can zip thru it.
