Have any of you guys looked into the AEM infinity system yet, I picked on up for my turbo ls project.

Flex fuel, data logging, can-bus, traction control, boost control, auto correct for target lambda, individual cylinder control etc. You would have to wire it and its a little more money than the base holly system, its not though once all the add ons are done.

They are all great choices!

So you can set up a type of traction control with the holly dominator
set up it just use's a pick up off the drive shaft ? ?? ?
That will be awesome if you can do that, that was one of the things I
liked about the pro efi. Did not know that
Thanks Garrett

Davis traction control sells the traction control module for the holley if you choose to add that option.

The holley doesn't have a flex fuel sensor but it does have a multi-map selector so switching tunes is easy and no need for a laptop.

You can download the holley software from their website and play with it, its very user friendly.
so you have to get into the computer and change the map's...... that sucks.

i just put in 91 or e85 and the computer does it. lol

Negative.

I refer to this as the "****'em up switch"

After learning that the Holley can now use RacePak I change my mind.

you can be into a Holley HP for $1600 and the Davis Module for $1000...so you would be at 2600...far less than what you would pay for the PRO EFI...

use Holley Digital Gauges......

and as far as the ethanol sensor...its not necessary... the Holley will compensate on the fly for e85.....and will re-compensate back when you put some regular low octane gas back in
the thing to remember is that the Holley thinks in Lambda even though its showing you an AFR value...
its just a # for the gas scale so that humans can visualize it easier...
in the background its still just using lambda...
if you tell it gas, it will always be stoic of 1.0= 14.7, if you tell it e85 stoic of 1.0 =9.63

the fuel table doesnt change when you change it from gas to e85...it still has to be manually changed or learned..

and you can always load in 2 different tunes....one for gas, one for e85..

Pro efi is 1800 dollars with traction control built right in. Not sure what you mean by that.

The simple fact of the ethanol sensor isn't to adjust the fuel trims, but based of ethanol content it will change timing, boost, and fuel. Not just fuel.
Maybe the Holley does that too but it wasn't in your post.

from what I can tell... thats just a base price...not the total it will take to be driving down the road....
not one person who has posted in here has said they will be able to be fully up and running driving down the road for that price...
I think the low posted in this thread was 3k?

and like I said... you can just do multiple tunes in the Holley...flip of a switch, tune 1/tune 2
same for boost control...and timing for boost...

Thats probably with a plug and play harness plus extra sensors etc. Granted you will probably have a couple things to wire but just to get the car running it would be as easy as walk outside and plug it in.

and what I mentioned was the HP... which will be a complete plug and play harness....(minus running a wire for the fans and getting dash gauges working or using aftermarket gauges)

the Dominator you will be a bigger chunk of change...but it too will be a plug and play harness basically..

True but whats protecting you from a gas pump having 85% ethanol one day and filling up a day later and its 60% ethanol?

oh...and truthfully....there is no such thing as 100% plug and play with any aftermarket ECU....LOL
we all know that....
theres always something you have to wire up or figure out how to get into the stock wiring..LOL

Thats what a proefi harness does, it wires it directly between the factory harness and the factory pcm. You don't get a entire new engine harness, you use the factory harness.
