Martin, don't forget ls2formula on here. He went 7.70 with full weight street car with twin turbos. He had TFS 235's also. 422 solid roller on e85. Everything was still in the car except A/C.

OP, the absolute thickest deck would be All-Pro. They have a few heads with a 1 inch deck but most are 3/4. For some reason though, their castings just seem more solid than a comparable head.

3/4" should do me just fine....right? Just gonna go for 21psi.

But now I'm having trouble finding heads with a thicker deck with larger chambers than 68-70cc......I wanted to drop my current 10.8:1 cr down to about 10:1 or 10.2:1.......with my flat top pistons. Plus use Full Time E85.....

Do you have a link to any of those passes or a thread, it has been awhile since I read up on his car

Thanks

That they do Chris!

I believe there is a very long thread on YB about the 6.70 passes and even more recently the 6.20 passes with the Warhawk hardware.

I still think that Mike Brown going 7.30's with a hydraulic roller, TFS 235's, Single turbo and at 3400lbs on a 315DR is even more impressive than Andreas going 6.70@2400-2500 lbs. with twin turbo's and a 33" tire.

TFS heads come with a 70cc chamber.

Problem solved.

10:1-10.5:1 IMO is perfect with E85 and boost. I am running 10.3:1 on my race car non intercooled on Ethanol and my engine will see no less than 20-22psi at all times and possibly as high as 26-28psi.

Pffft........10.8 will be fine for e85. Just run a lil thicker gasket and get it down 10.5 like Martin said. I think BAKED on here is running 11.5:1

But I'm at 10.8:1 now........with 68cc chambers. Wouldn't I need chambers somewhere around 75cc to drop my compression closer to 10:1......?

I have flat top pistons.
