XIM is on the car, has not shut off at idle since.

Miss is also gone.

Merry Christmas to me.

Glad to hear it. Now it sounds to me like FAST needs to do some research, and figure out why. Obviously, it has caused you, and some others issues, and issues, basically unresolved by a manufacturer, is not good for their business. How many people said to take it off and get a Holley, just on this thread? JMO

I'm sure they will be looking into it.

They sent me this XIM ignition box nearly two months ago right after our last race to try. Myself and the guys in the shop needed a break from the car and the issues experienced so it has just sat in the corner by the dyno.

On Friday my boss Jonathan sent me a text said he decided to mess with it and put the XIM on. Said it idled for twenty minutes straight and never shut off. He said he could grab the harness and do everything we would before that would make it shut off movement wise and it never flinched or shut off. Revving it up before would cause it to shut off at idle. Never shut off while doing that either with the XIM.

Looks like the new "EZ-LS EFI" Ignition box has some bad RFI/EMI interference issues IMO.

Old faithful XIM FTW hopefully.

Now I can get back to deciding what to tweak and mess with on the car first.

They're allowing the new "radial slick 26x8.50" in our class and ultra as well as the new 235/60 M/T pro. Really considering making a gear change and running that tire.

You and me both.

Thinking about a 3.73 rear gear and 26x8.50" MT Radial slick they just came out with.

Or the 235/60 pro....decisions decisions.....

3754R at posted weights (old mickey)
3754X 100 lb penalty (new mickey)
235/60 Pro at posted weights (supposedly they have a 235/60 flavor of the new mickey coming out, but I can't find literature anywhere)
26.0" x 8.5" at posted weights (New "radial slick" 26" x 8.50")

That just seems like too many tire options

Idled the car for at least another 15 minutes today. Never cut off.

Going to try and test as soon as we can.

New ignition box seems to of cured the issue.

Going to order a boost leash/pulse leash Monday though. I just don't really care for this xfi boost controller and bump box.
