Ok well thanks for the help and info just was looking for some opinions, still kinda new to this forum ... And yes we have spelling and grammar classes in tn forgive the bad spelling I'm using an iPhone . Wasn't trying to go off on people but when you disrespect my thread that's not cool at all ls1tech is for builds questions problems etc not for childish people dissing one another

From what I can tell people get bent out of shape about rear vs. front mounts. Personally I wanted to keep my 02 Camaro look as stock as possible. I heard many bad things from people about the rear mount but none of them actually owned a car with a rear mount turbo. I am just about to get my tune done and we should be well over 1000hp. I didn't go with the typical 5lb setup. I also put the eboost controller on my setup so on high boost it should be around 22-25lbs of boost. 408 stroker with trick flow heads, 80mm rear mount sts turbo, meth injection, built trans, McCloud clutch, all spohn chrome moly from front to rear, 9" rear end, squash dual fuel pump and my a/c blows cold. I will say this on a break in tune the rear mount had absolutely no lag, so we will see how it does after the tune!

Nice! I wanted to keep the engine bay "unmolested" as well since mine is a daily driver.

I'm curious as to which 80mm turbo you packed in the back of yours??? I'm running the tiny On3 76mm ball bearing turbo. Tucks up there nicely, but I was thinking of going with something like that CX Racing GT45 80mm Ball Bearing turbo. Which one do you have?
