i hope you know you just opened a can of worms... google this and you will see there are so many haters for both sides and many supports for both sides. i have done 2 and been a hand on 1 other rear mount setup.
i love rear mounts.
ease to work on engine still.
love the sound. i have have yet to see boost lag. i build boost instantly at around 1800 rpm on dakota. dont remember on the LS sonoma or the LS 70 camaro. i can post videos if you'd like.

this video is what really inspired me to go with rear mount

and make sure you spend the money on a quality oil return pump that STS crap white pump is loud and not designed for what they use it for. go with a turbowerx exa pump. its super quiet and built for oil and high temp apps. good luck man.

Never liked rear mounts here, Fm looks so much better plus all the sts rm systems I've seen just don't seem to make the same power as the fm.

Mostly all I see people do on here is front mount which look amazing and put down great power , seems to be the most popular route to take honestly. And not to hurt your feelings or anything burnouts are cool sometimes but that video was useless lol didn't show me much besides how it sounded.

I liked the rear mout kits when I first saw them. Great sound and with it way back there you don't have to worry about the temps getting to high under the hood. You can also run LT's and that's great since I already have some. Then I read of a few guys that would have clearance issues with them banging on stuff back there. Also the camaro that STS has on there website at the track(can't link from phone) ran terrible to me, for what it was at any rate. My .02.

I have to ask, why did you not use proper capitalization on the title of your post?

I have a rear mount on my truck. The return system is my biggest issue. Too many problems waiting to happen and it's all open underneath. Spool time is great, power feels great, and ran some good times with it.

They both can get the job done. If you have absolutely no space up front or you want to keep everything stock looking then rear mount it. If you can put it up front just do that. It's lighter, no pump, and less piping. Done both and I like both but you will have more potential out of the front mount

I don't really think people are haters on this forum.

We all get a little fed up with some of the content, especially the repeated content.

This is a topic that has been covered hundreds of time. The search feature of this forum is your friend. If you use it, no one will hate on you.

Also, do they have spelling and grammar classes in TN?? Damn boy lol.

Here ya go kiddo, read up and knock yourself out. i found all these threads in about 45 seconds. The subject of rear vs front turbo has been going on litterally for years and has been beaten to death. Getting all butthurt and swearing at everyone isn't going to make you any friends here either.

It saddess me that kids these days won't look into something and research it for themselves, they expect everyone else to do it for them
