I've got customers using the 2" coupler with an interlock liner on boosted 6 liter ford powerstrokes making big, big boost with several hundred in service and only 1 documented failure.

Yeah it was not a turbo rated flex joint. My drivers side pipe has a slip fit it in it but the passenger had this flex piece in it. I have ordered on of the turbo rated ones with the interlock liner. Once I finish the turbo swap I will see if I want to go flex or slip.

I've had this problem twice so far. First flex coupler was braided inside
I bought the Vibrant interlock one the second time and it still did it. Has a really bad exhaust leak coming through the coupler and loosing boost. Pieces were missing and I'm surprised my turbo hasn't got hurt yet. I'm about to try my 3rd attempt this time. As you see, my coupler is coming right off the header. I'm thinking the heat from the header is killing these. I'm going to try to move it further downstream to see if that helps.
