Yeah your s.o.l. When it comes to foxbody gauges. Specially the speedo since it's cable driven. The option I'm taking is buying the gauge mount plate that let's your run aftermarket tach, speedo ect. The one I was about to buy has the turn signals, oil light, high beam indicators built in to it.
However I think I'm going to run the holly LCD screen. But one thing you can use is that gps speedo unit. I bought the autometer gps speedo drive. It drives almost any speedo that takes a square wave signal. Stupid accurate, and you'll never have to worry about speedo being off due to gear and tire size.

The tach that is in the sn95 cluster is more accurate than the old fox body units. I didnt do the swap myself. I just messaged the guy to see how he got the factory tach to work. Ill let you know when he responds. this is the speedo sender I plan on buying
http://www.intellitronix.com/gps-sender.html. I dont know how it compares to the autometer unit. The florida 50 gauge cluster is expensive but it is nice and lets you keep the turn signal and hi beam lights. http://www.florida50.com/1994-2004-i...t-clusters.htm

Here's the dash plate I was going to use. The price is pretty attractive.

On the the holley you can change the rpm range or whatever it's called so you can use the factory mustang tach. Why wouldn't you use the fox one? Or the same sn95 one with cable driven speedo? Isn't the th400 cable driven? Not the same? But if you upgraded to the newer style cluster you can get a signal from abs sensor off the front wheel(or rear) whatever that's what I heard

The Sn95 gauges that I have include an electronic tach and speedo. The Holley does have a tach output which I will try with the factory tach - I've read elsewhere this works, otherwise I can buy some kind of converter box to make it work.
Speedo - seems like a couple of options. The GPS or some other convertor box. The th400 does have a cable drive. Dakota Digital has different solutions for all of this stuff. Even at ~$200.00, getting the factory gauges working is the best solution for me. I have a set of triple gauges for oil/volt/temp mounted by the radio. If I get can the factory gauges working, I will just mount a boost gauge on the column and call it a day.

This thing looks promising.

This is the one I was talking about. Not sure if you where wanting something like this or not. I would just have an obd port under the dash for this. The piggy back off that obd port for another one to use just in case I need to plug in to check codes and stuff something like that.

Little more progress...
Got the factory shifter cable hooked-up. I'd like to try the factory shifter and see how it all works out. Mostly b/c I want to retain the factory console and not have another project to figure out (as far as mounting another shifter).
Cable installed:
Trans cooler hooked-up, B&M 70266(?). There is an opening in the front bumper cover for where a fog light would go. Hopefully its enough airflow. I do not have this tied into the radiator - I want to see how this cooler does on its own.
Waiting on Moser to drop off the axles and then I can get the rear installed. Then, all I need is a driveshaft measurement and I'm off and running!

Couple of more welcomed additions to the cause:
Denny's Nitrous 3" shaft with 1350's...$665.00 to my door with the optional 1350 yoke to replace the Ford flange. Good for 1k HP according to them. I didn't balk a whole lot at the price cause these guys do nice work.
Set of 275/60/15's, actually fit the wheel wheels pretty darn good.

I finally picked up a clean sn95 to swap all my stuff into. I am going to use a vette c5 shifter in the stock location. In my last on the stock shifter was used and I could not manualy hold 1rst with it. i should be able to with the c5 shifter. i just have to figure out what cable to use.
