ZL1 blower on an LQ4...
...In my 68 camaro... just put it on. Still need to wire intercooler pump and fuel hose needs to be completed.
Should be all wrapped up in a few weeks and is going to tune with Dan Maslic. Put down a base of 320 rwhp on a Mustang Dyno through a 4l80e w stock stall and a 14 bolt rear w stock ls3 heads and 222/230 comp cam. Hoping for 450 this time.
Swapped cam for a new gm ls9 cam for drivability and grunt. Dan says it will fly! Will probably need tire recommendations soon. Will keep you all posted.

Holy thread resurrection, batman! My car's been sitting in the garage. After I slapped the blower on Dan took a look at it and told me I had an incorrect sensor and some other problems. He had the car for a while - maybe 8 months (I didn't push him, I've got a C7 vette in the meantime), and I told him don't make it a priority, get to it whenever. Dan finally told me that he was having trouble firing it, and he thought that I had the wrong cam sprocket on (a 1x, instead of a 4x). So he returned the car.
It sat for a few months (I'm a super busy guy), but about six months ago I finally got around to tearing it apart and sure enough, the sprocket I ordered from Lingenfelter was the wrong one - there was a post on a Lingenfelter forum that pointed to the incorrect part. I fixed it, and it fired up. I then bought a house, moved, and when I got situated I called Dan, but I think he's fishing in Canada or something. He doesn't really tune anymore, just focuses on the publication stuff, but he's been cool enough to want to finish my car. At this point I'm thinking of buying a wide band and HP tuners, because I am going to want to tune the vette eventually, and I just bought an FD3S shell. I will get to it before the end of the year, gentlemen.
Accessories - I don't really remember. The LSA water pump was used with the LSA balancer (which is pinned) and I am using the kwik brackets. I think that almost any Saginaw type 2 remote reservoir pump fits, and I think the alternators are just universal for most gen III engines.
Yes I've heard the knock in the Zl1 supercharger which sounds like a marble rolling around in the engine. Supposedly eventually it will cause a minor issue but supposedly there is a cheap kit you can buy to eliminate it.
Yes I have to stock ZL1 heat exchanger, but I used the upgraded bosch pump. It has LS3 heads, and the LS9 Cam. I wanted everything to be GM, and Dan said the LS9 was a great blower cam.
If anyone else is doing this, basically, you have to get the ZL1/LSA top end, an LSA/ZL1 water pump, an LSA/ZL1 balancer, and the various idler pulleys that go with it. I think the whole deal cost me probably $4k for the parts.
