Ok, I think I understand, I just want to know how will the trans act in normal driving. Will It work like stock after all is hooked up, when im not racing?

Yes, it will work like stock. There is nothing the computer does during normal driving that would trigger the "sloppy transbrake"

Ok, so unplug the RED47 from the PCM(,85-87) ground the relay(,86) and hook the 12volt from my 2step wire to switch side of relay? By unhooking Red47 from PCM which control 3rd gear shift, it will still shift right in normal driving. What&Where is Pin B, what that go to( 30 )on relay?

Any update here? Anyone else used this successfully? Any other results? I was able to get my 60ft from a 1.95(super tight converter) to a 1.61 by leaving in 2nd gear is it worth it to try this?

Well update for others following this. I wired up a momentary button tonight for this and it definitely works really well. I went from ~2200 rpm in first, ~3400 rpm in second and wasn't paying attention to much when I did it on the button but easy 4k+ and 11psi+ and let off. I don't have any tuning software so I haven't shut off any codes but it didn't seem to go into limp mode or anything but I didn't go far to test just in case just out the garage and into the street. I'll have to have a friend hook up his hptuners and see if I have any codes from this and hopefully I'll be able to test it at the track on Thursday (supposed to be nice and cold finally). Being able to leave with more than 2~3 psi will be really nice. 1st gear got 0~1psi 2nd gear leaves I could squeeze 3psi.

So Geoff you are choosing to leave in 2nd gear then? Thats how i am reading it. Have you tried their trick of spooling in 3rd at the line then letting it drop to first at launch?

I was leaving in 2nd gear before I wired this up. Now that I wired this up all I have done is test it in the street and it def works, haven't actually launched the car yet, but it def builds WAY more boost then in 2nd gear. I'm hoping to head to the track Thursday night and try this out.

Will do, thanks for the write up! A momentary button cost me $4.23 vs a $600 trans brake, lol.

Sorry guys but I couldn't get the track to hold even my 2nd gear launches, it was just too cold (low 40's). Best 60ft was 1.68 spinning and most were 1.7x's. It has been 1.61 on a worse track hooking leaving in 2nd so I never bothered trying the "transbrake". After disabling the codes needed we played with it on the street and it just spun. Sadly it may be a while before I can get back to the track since I am supposed to put a cage in before going back. (ran 10.1 @ 139)

make sure to clear codes if it throws them or else you will be in limp mode.

Denmah, you think you could do a sloppy write up on hooking up a wideband o2 through the egr pin and what setting to use in the data logger with the hpt standard? Sorry i know this was way off topic.

sure, i should upload my config i use for CLSD cars that has the EGR wire pinned and the wideband in the dash etc etc, otherwise you just plug the AEM UEGO wideband output wire into blue 55 and then use my config
