Default Cam

Martin Smallwood from Tick performance is top of my list, you could also go with Ed Curtis Flowtech Inductions, Texas Speed.

I would call or PM Martin First he will get you sorted out real fast.

brian tooley racing just spec'd a custom cam for my rear mount build. Martin at tick is also a good choice.
Be very clear on your goals for the car, i wanted my car street-able not a max effort car, so the cam profile will change with they way your going to use the car.

He's kinda the new "fad" for lack of a better word but he absolutely has results to back up his popularity. Great guy to talk with too.

Sorry Martin for using the word fad. Haha

Edit: Thrend....how about we go with trend.

I believe i would have to swap the front cover and gear. Its a possibility but spending a couple extra hundred bucks for a cam matched exactly to what i want without out having to change anything else doesnt bother me.

I sure enjoy dealing with LilJohn on here. Awesome guy to talk to and very knowledgeable. One of the builds he was involved in just set a world record.

Whew - thought you were going to slip and use a "g" on there.

Don't think Marty would like that!

Martin, Lil John, Ed, etc....you can't go wrong with any of them. I went with Martin. He is newer to the game than the rest but he is coming up fast and so are the cars he is specing cams for. Actually he speced 2 cams for me. One for my 76mm turbo real street car and one for my dad's all motor LS1 mini pulling tractor.

Depends on your goals for the car...everyone has their own opinion on "turbo cams", and frankly they all work well. I have personally had 2 cams specd by PatG and loved them both.

So, what details did you have to give him? deck width? single or dual blade?

Sorry man, I had to.
