If it's a Tick Performance custom cam you just might.

Looks like you already have an aftermarket cam though. Did I spec a cam for you?

Run #10 is no meth. Run #8 is with meth. Run #20 is with meth and custom cam.

Run #10 was an extremely conservative tune we did on the car right after it was finished with the initial blower install. Customer just wanted to enjoy the added power for a while before really getting after it.

Here is a better example showing our best power numbers on 93 octane alone. Run #3 shows this. This was achieved with added timing over Run #10 on the previous graph. Run # 4 on this graph shows us turning the methanol injection on, but no other changes. We made 3 pulls after run #4 with no real power added from cleaning up the air fuel and the cooler air temps. The owner installed the methanol kit and installed the meth nozzle after the IAT sensor so it never sees the drop though. We finally added 2 degrees to bring the timing up to 20* up top at peak hp and 16-18* at peak torque and the results are shown on run #8. This is the same amount of timing we utilized with the custom camshaft. 20* up top at peak, and 16-18* at peak torque.

We're using a 8 heat range non projected tip plug as well.

FYI for those that asked about D1SC power potential, I made 742/688 a couple weeks ago with a pig rich (aka 10.2-10.4) tune with only 16 degrees of timing. No doubt it'll make close to 800rwhp once I clean up the tune.
No, but IMO your cam has too much overlap and doesn't have an earlier enough EVO event for a centrifugal blower.

I'll grab an idle video for ya.

Excited to see what yours does as well.

I just ordered the cam on your web site. I didn't see the valve spring package you were suggesting so just add them to my bill.

Thanks Jason

Jason,

I have a very nice PAC spring kit that IMO will work great. They are 50 dollars more than the spring kit you were looking at. I sell these in a kit with Ti retainers, chromoly locators, locks and Viton seals for 399.99.

Depending on what lifters you currently run will determine which of these two we choose from.

These are the springs:

BTW I failed to mention guys, the air fuel readings you're seeing on the dyno graphs we've found to be lean by .6-.8 consistently. What you're seeing register on the graphs is the tail pipe sensor the dyno jet software uses. The two wideband sensors Jonathan logs and tunes with are NGK AFX sensors. Both of those two sensors read identically .6-.8 richer than the wideband sensor in the tail pipe on the dyno does. I guess the ultimate test would be to rig one of the NGK sensors up to the tail pipe and record the air fuel readings to see if they change. I think we might just do that too. Not on this car, but soon.

On cars like this Jonathan will read the plugs multiple times as well. The air fuel ratio is actually in the 11.2-11.4 sometimes mid to high 11.7-11.8 range at lower boost.

What's so cool is this customer actually won our 1000$ gift certificate we gave out at our customer appreciation day. Which he put towards this cam package!

We made the tune what we feel to be a lot safer so our customer can enjoy this car for a long time. Here is how it will leave the shop in a few minutes.

Made more torque, and bit less HP. Pulled 2 degrees out and added some fuel as you can see. Customer is happy so we're happy! Thanks for the kind words from everyone!
