Well, It finally made the Track at Beech Bend/LS Fest 2015 in Bowling Green this weekend. For me never being in something like this before, never leaving off a Brake, never on a 2 step, and EVERYTHING still needing work which was obvious after the run, I can say I am happy with its first run/outing.First run was a horrible run at only a 12.01 letting out about 3/4 track after many mistakes on my part and not leaving off the brake. The second and final run we made, the Truck ran a 9.89@151. The Next day they called my class to the lanes early and I didn't get time to make any worthwhile changes, so I decided not to run it as I felt there wasn't a lot of point so I decided to put it on the dyno for their Dyno Challenge and won the overall weekend dyno challenge with 1105 on the dyno.
It was a good weekend for me, and I am happy with the results soo far.

Considering that it was basically your second shakedown pass, I am very impressed. With some more fine tuning and track time those times will drop considerably. What kind of 60ft time did you see on the second pass?

Thanks....I would have loved to got a lot more attempts at a pass, but Ill take what I can get.
Were Guessing we can max this turbo out on this engine....so I still have 8-12PSI we can turn it up. Its gonna be all about the Ramp in to keep it hooked up. I want to change to a 30" Tall tire, as that run was set to a 7K rev limit and I spent 2.5+ Seconds on the limiter. On the top, the last second was all done against the limiter as I didn't want to let out and record a slower time. We upped the limiter to 7600 Sunday morning before putting it on the dyno and the difference was about 70WHP up top...and it was still climbing straight up when I let out over 7K.
Truck that weekend without me in it was 3640....Im 255....so just over 3900 Race weight.
No ****...my 12.01 first run proved that. I wont lie, I was NERVOUS as hell in something like this. I wanted an experienced driver in it to test, but when I couldn't get one, I grabbed my man card, put that bitch in my Racing Jacket pocket and suited the **** up.....Get er done.

Well Ive had some more seat time and have played with suspension and tire tweaks and it's getting better. I Took the truck to the LSX Monsters race in Louisiana a couple of weeks ago and entered the heavy hitters class with it. There Was only a small amount of cars in the class but we were all pretty evenly matched. During Testing I went from a 10.6 run at 154 down to 9.1x@160 during the actual eliminations. I ended up winning the class and then topped the night off with a last solo pass to try to set the all time TBSS record, where the previous was a 9.03 set years ago that has stood a long *** time.....here's the pass.
