For the guys talking flex pipes, vibrant racing makes turbo safe flex pipes with no lining and an interlock inside lining, that basicly looks like that corny flexable exhaust pipe that parts stores sell.

The mesh is only for reenforcement and stiffness not sealing

Awesome update vid Denmah!

Funny, I think I'm more excited to see what becomes of the black and grey car at this point, than the one you're going to do a nicer build on. Funny how the sloppier stuff is, the more interesting and entertaining it is. Haha

High gear as in overdrive while cruising, or high gear as in 3rd while making a quarter mile pass? I've been debating between a single and multi disk lockup but if I can do without locking then I can save myself a few hundred bucks.

The only problem is I'm on a 26 inch tire with 3.23 gears so my 3rd gear tops out around 150 WITH the converter locked. That might be a problem without lockup since I'm shooting for mid 9s.

Update, the 4.8 is nearly done, heater hoses are seeping, tank needs to be installed once the sump is done (my friend is sumping the tank for me like 3.0)

shifter is coming, going to convert the u joint on the stock driveshaft to 60e and use the stock drivesahft and rear and see how it all does for now.

going to change out the WG spring to like 6psi for now and see how it does, these appear to be 28lb injectors and i know people can make like 300-400 area, so i think we will see how far they go, the fuel lines are working good and i wired the pump in teh back of the car, that is working good, stuffed it all in a 2.5 gallon gas tank for now and fired the car a bunch of times today.

intake gaskets leak a little bit so those need to be swapped out soon, i have extras, should be driving this pig around this weekend for sure. or earlier

I seen these shifters on ebay. Price is about right and they're setup for overdrive transmissions. Seem to have most of the safety features. Comes with brackets and stuff. Thinking about ditching the B&M and pulling the Hurst from the car and giving it a shot.

Ah didn't know that the TCI was priced so well.

As far as procomp stuff, I've used a lot of it and it worked well. If it'll possibly save me some cash I'll try it before I pass judgement. Not one to pass something off so easily.
