I would Imagine the Internal Belt is staring to slip, I know in mustangs powerdynes were very bad about that, they had to be rebuilt quite often

The sound almost sounds like the powersteering in low on fluid but i can tell that it is comming from the powerdyne. This powerdyne was new from the guy that i bought it from. Anyone else know what is wrong with it???

Sounds like a bad bearing. I used to know a guy who had the tools to change them, but he ditched the whole setup. You probably have to send it in to powerdyne.

If it is a bearing wouldn't the powerdyne not work at all, because i can tell that it isn't by far stock.

the bearings start to go bad, and they make noise, until they fail.

cheap part, just can be a pain to replace

The have regular roller bearings just like the kind you have in Rollerblade skates (only example I could think of). You need some special tools to get them in and out, too. That is why you have to send it back to PD or find someone with the tools.

When you drop the head unit, you should know right away if it is the bearings or not by how smooth it turns. You might be able to tell just by pulling the belt and spinning it by hand.
