Received a text from Nate with One Guy's Garage on Wednesday. He mentioned he was ready for my car at anytime. Took off work a little early today and made the trek to his place. Dropped the car off, a pile of parts, and discussed the turbo kit.

I'm sure he will drop a few photos here and there as it makes progress over the next few weeks. Can't wait to see those.

Also ran to Fed Ex and grabbed a package that I needed to sign for.

Car was quick before and should be a beast when it's finished again! That is quite a split in duration for cathedral port heads, but John knows what he is doing.

What's all that white **** all over the ground, truck and trailer? Lol. Almost the end of December and not a flake in upstate NY yet. Crazy year but I'll take it!

Hoping for better results and less issues than last year.

It has been crazy here too. We had about two inches of snow a few weeks back. Then the dusting on Friday. Been in the mid to upper 30's for most of December. Even got to mid 40's today. Usually we have been shoveling a bunch already.

It has that much duration on the exhaust because those turbines are beast and won't have bp issues. Opening the exhaust valve sooner also improves spool.

Went crazy the last couple of days shopping for parts:

F-Body LS1 High Mount P/S and Alternator Relocation Bracket Kit
V-bands
Turbo Exhaust Forms
Stainless 180s, 90s, 45s
Aluminum 90s
Silicone Couplers
Silicone Reducers
T-bolt Clamps
Sensor Bungs
Catch Can Bungs
Radiator Hose Bungs
Turbo Feed and Drain Fittings
Gaskets
Pressure Transducers
Sheetmetal for Intercooler Tanks
Exhaust and Wastegate Bellows

Most likely going to install 8-channel EGT's in the manifolds. Been doing to researching and pricing on this.

At least the list is getting smaller. Had to get everything ordered to keep the fabrication guy busy! He is going to have a mess of components/parts showing up as early as tomorrow!

What do you think it will make on the new combo? I'm building a very similar setup, making the switch to e85. Only big differences is my cam is a little larger and I'm using an lsx block. Dying to see what it makes!

Time will tell. I am not even sure what to guess. As long as it makes the same power and torque, through the powerband (or at least more through the powerband), I will be happy. Anything above that is a bonus. I am not going to get too stuck on the numbers.

Just want it to run well at the track and be reliable.

A lot more efficient intercooler.
A properly spec'd cam.
Changed turbines from .81 to .96 A/R.

It might pick up a little.

Cut the upper radiator support, stood the new radiator up, and building a new support for the radiator and the hood latch. Will have to touch up some of the paint on the frame rails when painting the new support.

Radiator is a Griffin Part #58241. Both the inlet and outlet on the passenger sides. Double pass radiator. 27.5"W x 15.5"H x 2.5"D.

Planning to weld 20AN bung to the bottom and 16AN bung to the top for hoses.

Fans will be (2) Derale 16925 fans, 11.75" pusher fans. Each fan moves 2210cfm of air.

I know you haven't mentioned it in a while, but how has the aluminum exhaust treated you? I haven't seen too many people doing that (but maybe I just don't pay much attention). Why did you go aluminum? Lighter than stainless and not outrageously expensive like titanium?

At least two deliveries of parts for me scheduled for tomorrow. And a couple for Christmas Eve too.

No complaints to write home about. Yes, went with it due to its lightweight versus cost.

Will all the money you have in this thing you could have had a pro mod....

Props for sticking with it and always evolving. What is the "end goal" if there is one?

And how did the t3 set up do vs. the t4?

Believe me, there are days I wish I would have never bought the car! But the adrenaline rush when the boost gauge becomes positive is too much! Just can't explain it.

Hard telling where the end goal is. I am hoping this is the last big change. I am hoping to get the setup fairly consistent. It is more or less just a stress reliever (highly stressful job). The best possible end goal would be to go through 100 sets of tires, or something like that. I don't have any horsepower nor ET goals. I just want it to be able to run the ET it should based on the power it puts down. From there, I will probably back it down and work on bracket racing it.

I don't really have much to compare between the T3 and T4's. I have dyno numbers, but they were on different dynos, different tunes, different exhuast, etc. I never pushed the car far (boost level) on the T3's. I only made a couple wastegate passes and then I think two passes on 12 or 14 pounds. It went high 9's with a bad 60'.

I received some photos and updates from Nate at One Guy's Garage.

Here is another photo of the radiator and support:

Nate also added a cross bar between the frame rails. This should help reduce some flexing, strengthen the hood latch, and if needed, a spot for routing wiring.

He has been working on the Intercooler. Let me just say, I am already excited for Spring by just seeing this big bastard! Can't wait to see the IAT's and force some air through this.

It is a Garrett 27.8" x 12.7" x 5.1" Air-Air Intercooler Core. I bought 4" Intercooler lips from Treadstone. It looks like it should do the job to keep the IAT's in check. Nate mentioned it tipped the scales around 36lbs.

By the looks of some of the photos above, I better to get installing the Leash Electronics street/strip board to clean up that rat's nest of wiring in the front.

I have also decided to go forward with the 8-channel, individual cylinder EGT monitoring. I received the thermocouples:

I also ordered the thermocoupler amp. It has a built in g-meter. Will be neat to see what this pulls on some hard launches. More data points (thank you for the space Holley Dominator).

I'm sure there will be more to come soon!

Will you be using those to tune individual cylinders? Trim on the fuel injectors pretty much...

Correct. Will be adjusting fuel and spark as needed on an individual cylinder basis.

Nice progress! Not going to lie, I'm a tad jealous with the dedicated EGT monitoring... Very curious to hear your impressions of that system in conjunction with the Dominator.

I was able to piece it together very reasonable. The only thing I am missing is a few pins for the J3 Holley connector. I based the entire system off the Redline Motorsports kit, but I am into it for just over 1/2 what they sell it for. I can end up using wires from my other Holley harness if needed, or buy the pins and not have to splice wires.
