Also, I went back to the track last night and ran an 8.124 @ 166 at the same power level, no changes (time slip in video).

Sorry for the delayed response. I like the roots style blower as it is a little more consistent and it is low maintenance.

Weaker rods, and a fairly low-power blower at just 10 PSI. There are stock bottom end guys making 500 HP more than the TVS2300 is even capable of. Seems as though a properly setup dragster could crack 6's on a stock bottom end.

Squat was set up for the street changing things up now to get much less squat should really get out of the Hole. What you mean snow you how? Has a PTC converter 10" off the shelf now just went with a 9.5" has a MSD 2 Step and I have played with the tune a lot to get it to spool quicker and quicker. Makes a lot of power down low

Not sure if the owner is on LS1Tech, but to keep it fair its limited to LS1 tech members. Just to avoid the whole "my cousin's dad's friend has...xxxx" scenario.
I'd be glad to add him. Does he have a USN here? Any details on the car/built? You know what year 5.3?

Yes, my car is half the weight, but it is also half the power.
Now, with that being said, what people are doing in the street cars, etc is simply amazing.

It is surprising how many people get bent out of shape about the fact that it is in a dragster chassis. The SBE record is referring to the engine, not the chassis that the engine is in (in my opinion). I have some people even tell me that it doesn't count towards the record.

Having the weights and combos of vehicles goes a long way in making a fair comparison, but as I am finding out with my personal car-set up is EVERYTHING. You can make all the power in the word, but if you don't have the right rear gear, trans, tires...ect, it may not reflect on track. In your case, its the opposite. Your set us is so dead on fro the 1/4 mile, its augmenting your performance vs. everyone else at similar power levels.
I for one love it as much as I love Chris going 8.2s@high 160's without even ARP rod bolts!! I hope you continue to improve and push that set up-I don't see why you cant get into the 5's once you get into the higher end power levels we are seeing with some of these SBE's make.
