There is no restriction for it-have at it!!

I would just toss a **using 245 dragster** and mention the weight, but the fastest imports for all motors are in 3/4 or dragsters as well.

I think someone would know somethings up with the 1550 lb weight lol.

I've been considering it... I know based on some of the times these guys have ran, a stock Gen 4 4.8 could probably hit mid 7s without much effort only pushing 1500 lbs. The question is, will it do 6s?

1) F-ck the haters!!! Put the SBE ET record out of the world, and in your name for good!

2) We still need someone in the 7's. Thats the next frontier. Make it happen!

If thats true, I think that officially boots him from this list. Even int he rods/pistons are stock half-filling significantly increases the rigidity of the block-and is not a far comparison to a true JY motor, IMO of course.

What do people think about that?

O-ringed and filled but still extremely impressive. Still fits the bill has a stock SBE to me if it has stock Pistons and rods..

Shawn is a member on this forum.

Has ARP rods bolts for the 7800 or so RPM he runs and a half filled aluminum block. Stock crank, pistons, rods, and runs 799 heads.

Id say the half filled aluminum block would put it on par strength wise with a 5.3 iron block, so I wouldn't rule him out for the block alone.

Made 730 today on a sbe 5.3 at 18psi and only 14* degrees of timing on e85
Unlocked converter

Was hoping to run it up higher but couldn't get the dyno to load the turbos that well

Im pretty lax when it comes to this-but man that's still really stretching the rules IMO.

Many people say ARP lower end hard ware should not count for SBE. I'm 50/50 on that.

This thing is fully ARP...O-Ringed...AND Filled block?

Common....I'd love to hear what others think but I don't think that would count.
