Made 549 through a th400 and 3200 stall on 9 lbs w straight 93 no meth yet. Its. 2006 LQ9 w 317s, ls6 intake, comp 228/228 600/600 w 113.5+3 cam, 80lb injectors. Turbo is a eBay gt42 75/75 t4 for now. I think we still have some tuning to finish

It will be a while before I get any real good times. Still has a stock 10 bolt under it for now. By late spring early summer it should have a good rear under it.

Thank you, I think there is more in it even at 9 lbs, we ran out of dyno time just as we figured out it wanted more timing. Gonna try a different plug when we go back, hopefully an day now. Going from a non protruding copper plug to a tr7ix iridium and hooked meth injection up to it so we can see how much is in the small turbo.

Hey shoot me a pm on how much you think you spent on all the extra stuff besides motor/trans.. im thinking about doing something like this on the side for a little extra power. Im doing a v6 swap right now so obviously its the time and ill be doing all the work myself just like you.

Nice power! Is that turbo braced? Looks considerably larger than the GT45.

Compressor side is a little larger housing and 7mm bigger wheel. Inlet area is also 1" larger as well. As of now no brace yet but it's getting one to each of the heads.
Turbine is 2mm smaller both 1.05 a/r housings and close in size.

The boost reference regulator w quick connect factory style fittings to use factory lines and make a return system using the evaporator line. All I did was remove the factory regulator and change from evaporated line over t the return line b the fuel filter.

Oil return was basic, easy, ample. Drill and tap. Enough material there is no leaks and you still get 2-3 threads in there.

The engine for this came from a burnt up Cadillac. After a spun cam bearing it came apart and got Arp rod bolts, ring gaps open a little, and all new bearings and a hot tank before assembly

My favorite part of this whole project was m youngest wanting to build something and wanting to help with the new engine. I kept it simple for her, set the torque wrench and let her torque stuff like oil pan, timing cover, main cap side bolts etc.

Thats awesome. Now this spring when you take her to the track with you you can be proud to say that she helped.
That power on on 9 pounds is strong. Get the car to handle the power and you will have a 9 second street car with ease.
