Little progress today. I should have piping/Waste gates/wrapped by Sunday. There is still quite a bit to do though.

This is going to fly! Nice work.

Maybe move the air filters up front to get some fresh cold air vs. behind the radiator... Free HP.

I thought about doing that but was under the impression that any bends/piping in between the filter and turbo kills massive amounts of power. With that said I think I'm going to fab up some "scoops" to direct air under the car up and in front of the filters

Anyone see an issue with my wastegate dump pipes? I originally thought it would be ok but im starting to second guess it. I think I have enough room on the driver side for a small flex pipe may 3"? but the passenger side does not have any strait pieces at all.. Also what is the shortest flex pipe they sell? I haven't seen many options in 1.5"

Im glad you think so. I got a really good deal on some smaller gates (38mm) and figured with the right placement they may work for me. Im hoping ill be ok without flex pipe on them.

I was able to get quite a bit done this weekend. I had to relocate the intercooler to clearance the hood and get a 2 3/4" gap in between it and the radiator. I got some intercooler piping done as well.

The fact that the front end comes to a point has forced me to mount everything low in the engine bay. I didn't want a small intercooler so I'm paying for it in lack of ground clearance. I'm going to have to make a skid plate of some sort to protect all this stuff. Things are slow going but it's coming along nicely I'd say.

Do you have pics of them installed? I'm curious what they look like.

That merge pipe on the passenger side is a little rough looking. He should have tried to make it flow a bit more. What material are they?
