I run 2 of the derale 16925. They work great just draw a lot of amperage.

OP, I'll give you my suggestions, and im sure they are different then a lot of peoples. I did a Huron Speed single kit and made 727rwhp, on a mustang dyno, for whats its worth. This was with a 5.3 and milled 241 heads.

If I were you I'd run e85. If that is totally out of the picture then fine, but if you can do it. That would require a fuel system. Do it right the first time and go bigger then you need for now, you'll grow into it. Staying e85, Id say don't be afraid of the 243 heads. A monster stage 3 is a great clutch, I have one in my car and haven't had an issue.

If you are staying pump gas then I'd suggest the 317's. The fuel system above would work fine, maybe go with 80's in stead of the 60's.

I would also suggest to get a better wastegate. I don't have any first hand knowledge about that one you got with the kit, but just for a piece of mind.

Take the car to a good tuner.

Where to buy a meth kit? Is it necessary with the 317's and pump gas or is it going to be safe that i can get by without it?

to whoever said they were going to go spec or monster, go with monster, spec if you have an issue will not stand behind there product, monnster will, spec is the worst company i have ever delt with and had the worst customers service ever

Ya im pretty set on getting the monster stage 3.. just waiting on taxes and my work bonus and im going to start my build.

definitely go with the 80s over the 60s. Go bigger now, because you'll wish you did later.

The 60's are already bought and payed for and sitting at home so ill prolly just stick with them..
